I'm impressed the guy is disliked on three continats and all he has done is sit in a glass box for 44 days while people with too little to do have gone to watch him.

Zero showmanship, or entertainment value. This guy is on an ego trip.

As a magician, I've never liked Blaines style.

Just how many candy bars were sewn into his blanket?

To make it more spectacular, and I was actually expecting this to happen, I thought that they were going to 'accidently' drop the crate in the river on the last day. That would have been an interesting combo of a 'starvation' trick combined with an 'escape' trick. That also would have helped destroy any possible evidence of wrappers, etc.

I thought it was funny as heck when the Brits used a remote control helicopter to wave a hamburger under his nose. Other than that, result = 0.

I like David Blaine, but I like almost any magick.

I'll admit I havn't been following this most recent stunt, and I'll also admit that endurance feats are boring.

But I'm still a fan. :)

It would've been funny, in a sick way, if at the end his handlers said "Umm...we don't feel like letting you out after all. We're leaving now. Bye."

They said he lost 50 pounds during this but as I recall he was fairly thin before this. I don't know what it's supposed to look like when someone has lost 50 pounds but when they showed him after he got out of the box the difference didn't seem like 50 pounds worth.

They said on TV last night that Blaine was his middle name and that he's never revealed his last name and is secretive about it. What's the deal with that? And in this information age of today, how can it be possible for somoene to hide that anyway?

David Blaine was locked in a box for over a month with no food and no shower. Sources close to Blaine to say he turned his longest EverQuest binge ever into a publicity stunt.

His last name is 'Verytinypenis'. You can imagine, with a last name like that, that he would go to extraordinary lengths (ha!) to keep it secret.

I'm shocked! I had no idea he was gay.

How did he go that long without.... you know. Porno. It's not like he could relieve himself with all those flashers. English girls aren't very hot, and even if they were it wouldn't look very good to be doing that in public.
