View Full Version : Vista: why when I select "run" doesn't it show "history"

ie if the last program I typed into the "Run" box was say wordpad, when I next select Run, wordpad should be there......or at least, if I type a "W" that should come up as one of the drop-down options to select. Anyone know if this is correctable, or is this another upgrade feature :rolleyes:

Well, I dunno. The Run window shows the last command, on my computers with Vista. I wonder if there is any security settings in place, on yours. Hmm...

It's a privacy feature. Right click on the taskbar > properties > start menu

Two checkboxes for your convenience.

Oddly enough, I have those boxes unchecked, but it shows them anyway.
