View Full Version : Bad Astronomer attempting to Take over Sceptic Community!

Here's my Theory....

Phil is trying to take over the Skeptic Community one Board at a time. First he had his on BBAB, but for power crazed Phil Plait this was not enough. He plotted and quickly took over the Universe Today boards merging it to become BAUT (Notice that the Bad Astronomy part is first in the name, a clear sign of who is in charge.) Since then he has been carefully in-phil-trating TAM and even Mythbusters in a plot to take over the Skeptic World. Rumor has it that he has even gone to Australia to take over there and was involved in a plot to spread his influence to New Zealand too!

Now his plot is coming to the forth with his take over of JREF! How long before we see the creation of the BAUTJREF Forum? What will be next I ask you? ApolloHoax?

We need to spread the word now before he succeeds in taking of the world!

P.S. I hear rumors that Phil Plait, Jay Winley and Mark Roberts are all the same computer program....

He almost got away with it too, except for one clue.

There is a prop "c" on his left hand.

He MUST be working for the patriots!

Who is this Phil Plait you keep referring to?

I thought the new president is Dr. Phillip Plait?

Has anyone ever seen them in the same room together? Does this Phil Plait you refer to wear shoes when he crosses streets in London? They could have killed him and substituted another, and the different names are a clue.

I, for one, welcome our new astronomically bad overlord.

You are clearly a Plaitite Disinfo Agent and when we get off our backsides and finally get around to doing something to stop this menace we'll be rounding you up too, or something like that.

Actually, this is all a plot by Phil Plait's Evil Twin, Dr. Wiseman, to take over the skeptic community.

He lets the far more intelligent, attractive, and popular Phil Plait do all the hard work, then kills him in his sleep, and assumes his identity.

You'll know I'm right the first time you hear "Phil Plait" slip up, and say something like, "Come 'round my place and knock me up sometime." Just you wait!

Attempting? Looks like he's being pretty successful really. And that's just the parts that he lets you find out about.

No, we'll stick all you plaities under the asteroid that you claim isn't going to hit us. More ironic that way.

I'm withholding any judgement until David Icke proclaims our new prez to be a reptilian astronomer.

Excuse me, but why would alien reptilian overlords need an astronomer to tell them what's out there? Wouldn't they just be able to, you know, go and look?

The BA is obviously in the pay of the Hostile Sub-Terrestrials*, who would need someone to explain the sky to them, badly or otherwise!

*10 points** for the first to get the reference!

**Geek points, that is!

Can I claim the 10 geek points with a hollow-Earth reference?

I'll need to check with Prof. Walsh to see if you're cleared for information on the HST's.

And he would have gotten away with it, too, if it weren't for you meddlesome kids!

There's not much point, she died last night.

Yes, I am geeky enough to be working my way through the box sets.

Did I say geeky? I meant male.

Has Dr. Plait read the fine print? Wait'll he finds out the Wagg and Randi get to change the title of his former forum to the title he'll be required to carry at the JREF....
