After years of staring at my computer screen practizing MexicZen Tacoism and a thurough reread of the Taco Te Ching I have achieve Tacovana.
Let me share some of my wisdom with you.
{throws cumin in the air}
- There are many paths to the true Taco, these include the Drive-Thru, the Kitchen and the Street Vendor.
- Contemplate this: Can a shell without filling truly be considered a Taco?
- There is no redemption unless your hand is stained by the grease of the Taco.
- Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to make fish Tacos and you've given him a career.
Now go forth and spread the word and return to me if you need guidance, directions or recipies.

Tacovana:
A gordita within a gordita (lots of bean dip and cheese to keep them together), meat, cheese, lettuce, Taco Bell (aka The Church of Tacoism) sauce, and a nice cup of Pintos & Cheese on the side.
I have eaten this mean, but I regret to inform that I would have achieved Tacovana had the taco been a little less soggy...

I have a question, Mr. Sinner.
If when you are eating a taco, the shell breaks, is it still a taco? I mean how can the existence of a taco be surrounded by nothingness? If it is no longer a taco, does the soul of the taco remain?

Do not forget the old saying. If your taco shell crumbles does it not become a taco salad? So yes, the essence of the taco remains even if the shell is imperfect. In fact, the essence of the taco remains evident long after you have eaten it, especially if washed down with Sacramental beer.

But Master, that implies that the shell is not important. Does the soul of a taco exist even without it's mortal shell? If so, what distinguishes a pile of meat, cheese, beans and tomatos from a true taco?
