Here is a rather nutty former Asian bureau chief of Forbes magazine interviewing David Rockefeller. Note that this really appears to be David Rockefeller, and he doesn't flinch in his denial of being a secret ruler of the world. He does, however, continue the interview. His reactions to some of the questions are interesting, to say the least, as well as his apparent ignorance of Ron Paul's candidacy, and his downplaying of the Federal Reserve as an "issue".

Why are his reactions interesting? Why is his ignorance of Ron Paul's candidacy interesting? Why is his downplaying of the Federal Reserve as an "issue" interesting?

David Rockefeller is probaly one of the smartest persons in the world. Fulford and other losers are just mad that David has more money then they have. Too bad Jay Rockefeller can"t be like his uncle David Rockefeller.

What am I missing here? Do you believe he really is a secret ruler of the world?

Yeah. He's one of them. The so-called philanthropy of the Rockefeller family exists to disguise their network of ownership, control, and wealth, and to avoid the taxation they impose on everyone else. And why is a retired banker meeting with the emperor of Japan, and in what capacity?

Oh God. I doubt many people who don't spend far too much time online or who aren't Americans with nutty neighbours have heard of Ron Paul's presidential candidacy.
He never had a hope and its far too late anyway.

Paul attended the Republican debates, and it was common knowledge to anyone with even a modicum of interest in US politics that he was a candidate, like him or not. Rockefeller has been described as someone for whom the US Presidency would be a "demotion", and regularly meets with the leaders of foreign governments (under what capacity, I do not know), so the idea that he would feign ignorance of Paul's candidacy and position on the Federal Reserve is puzzling.

Maybe Rockefeller is meeting with leaders of foreign governments because he is friends with them. Maybe he is meeting with them because he is very good at handling financial matters and they need advice. Why don't you try to contact Rockefeller or those foreign leaders and ask what they are meeting about?
Why is it odd that he did not know Paul was running? Name for me all the candidates right now that were at one point or another running in the 2008 US Presidential election. I can't without looking it up and don't find it strange that he didn't know all the candidates.
What is Rockefeller's position on the Federal Reserve and why is it so puzzling? I am looking for a quote from him that says something like "I think the Federal Reserve is...."
On the Federal Reserver in general, it did cause the Great Depression. It royally screwed up, hence the statements by Friedman and Bernanke in you sig. The entire quote from Friedman says "The Federal Reserve definitely caused the Great Depression by contracting the amount of money in circulation by one-third from 1929 to 1933." It sheds a bit more light to the matter than just the nefarious implications of the quote you have. The Fed made some bad decisions at that point and it cost the country dearly. Do you have any evidence that there is some evil behind them trying to screw everyone over?

Um, to become a male prostitute would be a demotion for me but that doesn't mean that I know the names of the (failed) male prostitutes in my city.

I think my favorite quote was, "those who know know these are real." What an asinine waste of time.

I like your answer van_dutch. I guess I could be contacted then. Maybe I heard something first hand? Maybe I can get somebody's phone number. ()
My name: Enrique Pappalardo
My uncle's name: Conrado Pappalardo
Close friend of Conrado: David Rockefeller
Link to article (in spanish) read the image caption: "David Rockefeller junto al empresario paraguayo Conrado Pappalardo Zaldívar..." or "David Rockefeller next to (EP:not the woman!) Paraguayan businessman (EP:ex-politician) Conrado Pappalardo Zaldívar (EP:far left)..."
Sorry, I can't post a link yet. Fix and cut and paste I guess

Please don't ask questions I "can't" answer. My life may be in jeopardy!
PD: sorry for the sarcasm. Sometimes I get tired of hearsay.
