View Full Version : psytrance dna dancefloor activation challenge
8th August 2008, 06:55 AM
I'd like to post this for anyone in the psytrance community that believes in the concept of DNA Dancefloor Activation as well as those that believe in DNA activation music. Proving this concept could win any DJ in the psytrance community one million dollars. Many DJ's are saying their music changes the DNA, some are selling classes on it - this is a good opportunity to prove their claim.
If the concept of activating one's DNA through a particular form of music is valid, it should be testable.
For those that are unfamiliar, psytrance, a popular for of dance music, has many adherents that claim that this style of music 'activates' one's dna and positive traits while they are on the dance floor.
You can do an internet search for this subject to learn more about the growing trend.

Are these DJ's ripping people off and stealing money like Sylvia Browne and John Edward?

Unadulterated garbage designed as DAO says to rip people off. But what does this have to do with the challenge?
Could a moderator move the thread to a more suitable place?

On one of the pages in the cited website says the following:
DISCLAIMER: (for obvious reasons) The information offered should be considered spiritual in nature and not based in scientific fact. This type of guidance is not recognized to be truth by current medical or scientific models and should not replace your doctor's or other health care professional's opinions. Otherwise, that website is so full of new age, spiritualistic hooey that I would sustain serious brain injuries if forced to read any more.

Hmm, I don't know anything about that, but binaural beats certainly do have a health effect when listened to with headphones. Very effective to relax and work with hypnotic suggestion.

I'm not in the psytrance community but sometimes a psytrance DJ will play at our local club. Really the only effect this has on me is to make me really thirsty. (This is without taking any drugs like MDMA (also known as E) - though I look like a druggie becuase I'm always chugging down litres of water).
Well depending on the music itself it can make me aggressive or excited but I'm pretty sure my DNA stays the same. <Insert joke about wearing 'genes' on the dance floor here>
