While I protest their preventing Palestinians and others from protesting the Seperation Wall, I do commend the Israelis for finding completaly unlethal and undamaging means to get rid of protestors they dont like.
I expect China, North Korea, Cuba, Iran, Russia, Venezuela, and Egypt, to start using such methods in 2045.

In the words of Dylan -- 'You don't need a weatherman to know which way the wind blows"
As someone who has been involved with riots of Palestinians, and used plenty of tear gas, (and inhaled enough of it myself) I can assure everyone that the IDF will stop using this method as soon as the Palestinians figure how to turn it about and soldiers get it right back on them.
Pepper spray and CS you can 'walk-off' and it dissipates relatively quickly, and a gas mask is usually enough to protect the one deploying it, if the wind shifts.
This stuff sounds like if it gets back onto the soldiers, they will be unable to function normally, and when they return to their base to clean up, the tents and barracks will end up being uninhabitable.
Not cool.

Huh, whatever. Some day they'll discover nose plugs. That'll take, what, 3 demonstrations?

Nice. Maybe they will think twice about demonstrating violently...

When I saw the headlines, Border police use 'Skunk' against crowds I thought it might be ganja related somehow.
Too bad. That might be a better way to get everyone to just chill and make peace, you know?

Or turn the Palestinians into devoted religious killers?
(Yes I'm aware that the Hashshashin probably didn't actually get high)
