Someone had a thread comparing the use of the word 'explosions' in another tragic event, to show that if Truthers are going to interpret that word as evidence of 'bombs' or 'detonations', then they will be forced to consider any tragedy in which loud noises are referred to as 'explosions' as also being conspiracies.

I thought I had bookmarked it. Does anyone remember the thread I'm talking about? Thanks in advance.

What I like to do is just do a google news search for the phrase "sounded like a bomb", and you get lots of recent examples of people using that similie without there being actual bombs. You can also search for "heard an explosion" or whatever else you'd like to make your point.

Not sure what exact thread you remember though.

It might have been this thread (http://forums.randi.org/showthread.php?t=118564), and in particular this post by Alt+F4 (http://forums.randi.org/showpost.php?p=3862647&postcount=7), as well as these posts by 16.5 (http://forums.randi.org/showpost.php?p=3862958&postcount=22) and EvilGiraffe (http://forums.randi.org/showpost.php?p=3865129&postcount=66).
