I thought this morning's editorial in the Washington Post by Micheal Kinsley was very interesting.....thought others might find it intersting also.

Kinsley has consistently written persuasive and informative articles on stem cell research.

In fact, it is insulting to the people (including me) whose lives could be saved or redeemed by the medical breakthroughs Bush's stem cell policy is preventing.

He suffers from Parkinson's disease.

This is an excellent article. Some of the PhDs where I work do stem cell research. I have explained to people at parties why the policy is so stupid. None of them realized the unused embryos were scooped into a furnace if not used. Of course, the mass media leaves out these uncompfortable facts to make Bush's policy stronger, and his straw men real.

This is one of the truely idiotic things that Bush has done. I fully support stem cell research, even if the embryos are made only for that purpose.
