Is he or isn't he, and if he is, is he any good at it?

I'm voting the first option.
I think this person genuinely believes what he's saying. So far he has avoided particularly immature confrontational tactics, and seems interested in debate.
(Although his or her style of deabte is somewhat curious, and I find it lacking.)
Yes, I think this person has something to say that is worth a modicum of consideration, and he or she seems willing to at least attempt to back it up with some reserach. I just think this person's grasp of evidence vs. belief is sub par.

I think he's real; he is here by invitation. However I voted that he has nothing to say. I'm sure that he believes otherwise, but that does not excuse his fallacy-riddled presentation.
I also think it's quite uppity of him to show up here, a newbie, and try to dictate the terms of a debate.

A "scholarly" one at that!

I agree with Adonyx.
I think he is genuine and sincere. He is incapable of comprehending some of the objections raised against him.
Christians are constantly accusing nonbelievers of having scales over their eyes or a hardened heart. My sense is that it is just the reverse. They are unable to logically and rationally consider the logic of what they preach.
I believe he has also accepted some fairly strict limits on which scholars and thinkers are "legit" or worthy of consideration. Again, this is common in Christian circles. People are told what is and is not acceptable to read, see, think about and they will not be swayed from that. It is as if they are afraid to challenge their own thinking.

He's for real, and I'm one of the people who invited him over here.
I'd cut him some slack on being a newbie, I don't think he ever lurked here before signing up and didn't really know the style.

KrKey was invited here by some of us who board raided the Readers Digest forum. I for one am glad he came into our lions den, and am disappointed at his being treated like billiefan.
