Pater noster, qui es in caelis:sanctificetur Nomen Tuum;adveniat Regnum Tuum;fiat voluntas Tua,sicut in caelo, et in terra.Panem nostrum cotidianum da nobis hodie;et dimitte nobis debita nostra,Sicut et nos dimittimus debitoribus nostris;et ne nos inducas in tentationem;sed libera nos a Malo.

Hi

Seven years, and I'm still having a lot of trouble with that, "Sicut et nos dimittimus debitoribus nostris," part. :(

Has it been a year?

Planes crashing. Fire raging.
Towers falling. PEOPLE falling.
Pain. Suffering. Death.
Grief. Bereavement.
Tragedy.

Has it been a year?

Armies clashing. Missiles flying.
Buildings scattering. Families scattering.
More pain. More suffering. More death.
More grief. More bereavement.
War.

Has it been a year?

Food parachuting. Blankets airlifting.
Children eating. Mothers smiling.
Comfort (some). Shelter (some). Safety (some).
Fewer Taliban. Fewer Burqa.
Television!

Has it been a year?

People singing. Children smiling.
Americans together. PEOPLE together.
Comfort. Hope. Rebirth.
Fruition. Tenacity.
Forgiveness.

Has it been a year?

Has it been seven years?

I have no clue what the last three posts mean but I though I'd pass along an article about the new memorial at Logan Airport.

http://www.boston.com/news/local/massachusetts/articles/2008/09/07/at_logan_a_quiet_space_for_memory/

I got a sneak preview of the site and it's quite moving.

Let's not forget the real 9/11 story, you know, the friends we all lost.
