Came to work this morning and it is what I would call another 9-11 day in New England, not a cloud in the sky, maybe a degree warmer than that day in 2001. Hope everything remains ops normal. Have a good day.

I guess for someone like Cheap Shot, who was one of the ATCers responsible for the flights of that day, as the anniversary approaches, memories come back, the angst of the day, the terror, the heartbreak.
Best Wishes Cheap Shot.

I have also been reminded of 9/11 because of the crystal clear blue skies. I mentioned it to my friend who agreed
Same here, it really stood out that day even here in Chicago. I think the whole eastern half of the US was clear that day.

Have a quiet, peaceful, uneventful day CS.
And many more to come.

Hope it was a good day at work, Cheap Shot.
Those who don't understand the opening post might want to go to the last page of the interview (http://911guide.googlepages.com/cs3) and read the response to the second to last question...

I was wondering if you've got to see the new memorial at Logan (If I remember your in Nashua not Boston)? I got to see a sneak preview the other day and although I think most wouldn't want to make a special trip it would be quite moving to those involved.

When I read this - the lyrics to the Wendy Mathews song "The Day You Went Away" Sprung to mind
Hey, there's not a cloud in the sky
It's as blue as your goodbye
and I thought it would rain
on a day like today
Hey, there's not a cloud in sight
it's as blue as your blue goodbye
and I thought it would rain
the day you went away
It is a song often associated to our version of 911 - The Bali bombings

Didn't even know about it, I just googled it and found a picture of the memorial. I will visit it soon. Thanks

I can see why, never heard the song, but just listened to it. For those that lost family and friends on 9-11 and your tragedy on 10-12-02 as well, I hope the music smooths the soul.

Thank you, and yes we can only hope. And please make sure you take of yourself as well
