View Full Version : Truther Idiots At Ground Zero Today (9/11/08)

Or I should say near Ground Zero because with the security today I'm sure they weren't very near Obama and McCain and Mayor Bloomberg. Uploaded to YouTube today.
Gary "Wheelchair Assault" Talis is featured prominently in the first part of the video. Don’t these characters ever write any new dialogue? Their spheel sounds like some sitcom that's been in continuous reruns since 2004.

This was NINE FREAKIN' ELEVEN and I don't see a single frame with more than 7 twoofers in it, and most were just filming each other with video cameras.
The tombstone for the truth movement should be a big toilet, so the grass around it doesn't get ruined by people paying their proper respects.

Seriously, these people gathered the most attention they are ever going to get in 2006/7. Paying attention to them, or using them to define your own patriotism (I.e, using daft phrases like 'America haters') simply galvanizes their base. They are a group of disgraceful people with breathtakingly, painfully poor logic (And seemingly resorting to drink as this video shows). They eat on attention, and dine on feeling important.
Is that pomeroo at 3:45 in the suit, with a microphone?
Yep. The question is what he is up to.. Anyone seen him around recently?

Yes, it is. According to Nico Haupt about 150 truthers showed up and Ron Wieck interviewed Gary Talis.
just back from Ground Zero, pt.1 from our own PR tour. Heading now to some media stations. video report maybe this nite. Apprx. 150 truthers/we are change showed up. Big crowd around us every time when we too close with our banner to WAC + Co. Alex Jones didn't show up.
Often bullied by some yellow shirters with slogan "security guard" on it, who worked for WAC. Some spilled at us but no further incident. Cops at one point seperated us.
Some interviews with National Geographic Channel and a short hello to Ronald Wieck {Hardball) who interviewed Gary from WAC about WTC 7 etc...

That's disgusting that Obama and McCain were stepping on the dead, and showboating for their own gain. Just disgusting. No wonder we have a housing crisis. Yeah, disgusting.
Pausing politics for a silent moment on a day of shared pain, John McCain and Barack Obama strode side by side into Ground Zero on Thursday to pay their respects as the nation remembered the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001.
The presidential candidates descended a long ramp into the pit where the World Trade Center once scraped the sky. At the bottom, the Republican and Democrat threw roses into a reflecting pool already filled with flowers from a day of mourning.
They then stood quietly, their heads bowed.
Disgusting. Just disgusting. Vandalizing a memorial by throwing flowers at it. And then bowing their heads in silence, thus causing a housing crisis. They should have shown some sense of decorum by wearing identical black T-shirts and shouting "INSIDE JOB!!!"
I await the national cry of outrage against these inhuman monsters. 'Cos so far, Galileo, it's just you.

Does anyone know anyone involved in the cover-up? 'Cuz I figure what with all the folks on duty at the various agencies...not to mention NTSB and such, there's gotta be a couple thousand of them. You'd think they'd have formed a website or Topix thread or something.
It was probably the Illuminati under the expressed psychic control of Captain Kangaroo.

This is from the WACs themselves. The camera work is poor and the music is worse than usual. (Is it some kind of requirement that these videos have awful music?) Not all the people in the crowd are truthers. Nico Haupt's estimate of 100-120 blackshirts plus 20 (20?!?!!? What were they expecting?) yellow t-shirted "security" WACs seems correct.

You should try thinking for yourself and look back and get upset for 7 years the truth movement has zero evidence and you could have had an degree in engineering instead of lies. Why are you easy target for the lies of 9/11 truth? Greening does not support the lies of 9/11 truth. You fail to see that?
You are an apologist for terrorist and you bring up Greening who does not support your failed idea of explosives or thermite in WTC7.
Fire has much more energy than TNT, so take your thermite back to Jones who fooled all or you who lack knowledge on 9/11 and other areas required to understand 9/11. Jones made it all up FOUR years after 9/11, and he still has not been able to lie enough to make it true.
You have zero evidence like the rest of 9/11 truth and present your support, but the support does not share your fantasy. Why bring up Greening who does not support you, he just does not like NIST.
Make up your own idea of how the fire brought done WTC7. I have never seen a fire not fought not destroy the building it was burning in. All the big fires presented by 9/11 true liars have been fought and brought under control by water. Even some of the buildings in the WTC complex were sprayed with water to keep them from falling more. Truth movement ideas are all false and debunked, now only those who lack comprehensions are spewing the mantra of a diffused fringe cult, the few who still lack knowledge on 9/11.
Yes 9/11 truth is dead, zombies spewing debunked ideas, no evidence. An alive movement would have facts and evidence, your dead movement has lies, false information, fantasy, and zero evidence. That is not an alive movement, a real movement has substance not fantasy.

I've been watching CNN all day.
The guard issued a statement saying "Coast Guard Air Station Houston launched a HH-65C rescue helicopter and crew to airlift and transport approximately 22 to 50 people" who had called authorities for help.
There had been warnings for residents to evacuate beforehand, and Chief Petty Officer Michael O'Berry, interviewed by CNN, was asked why they didn't get out in time.
He said he thinks the residents "didn't understand, I guess, the strength of the storm. As it came about, they realized it's a lot stronger than they may have anticipated."
http://www.cnn.com/2008/US/weather/09/12/ike.rescues/index.htmlAnd this:
Officials urge residents to flee as killer hurricane roars to Texas
5 hours ago
GALVESTON, Texas (AFP) — Officials pleaded Friday with thousands of diehard residents of the Texas coast to flee to escape "certain death" as powerful Hurricane Ike bore down on Houston, the fourth largest US city and a major oil hub.
"They need to leave and they need to leave now," Joe Steinebaker of the county judge's office told some 14,500 people believed to have remained on the offshore barrier island of Galveston.
"If you think you're going to hunker down and ride this thing out, you're going to be riding it out without a house," he added.
...
But several thousand were thought to be hunkering down, despite the dire warnings.
Some 14,500 of the island's 58,000 residents have not evacuated, Mary Jo Naschke, who works in Galveston City's mayor's office, told AFP.
...
"Persons not heeding evacuation orders in single family, one- or two-story homes will face certain death."

I liked this one (http://www.star-telegram.com/278/story/903981.html)
...In Surfside Beach, a town of 800, the police chief asked one stubborn couple, David and Dondi Fields, to write their names and Social Security numbers on their forearms with a black marker in case something bad happened to them.
Dondi Fields, 50, wrote "I heart U" and "for my kids" on her arm. But the couple finally decided to leave. Police used an aluminum boat to reach them, and a National Guard truck carried them to safety....
Nothing like the Cops taking it seriously, leaving you to your own decision while asking you to make the identification easier on them to convince folks, I guess...

I had about a 25 minute debate with Jason Bermas at the corner of Vesey and Broadway in the afternoon. I'll have the video of it uploaded onto my YouTube page in a few days. I also had a brief discussion with Luke Rudowski, as well as the guy who made that recent video where he yelled at Bill Maher to impeach George Bush, that TV fakery guy (I don't know his name but have seen him on YouTube), and about a dozen other truthers and am editting it together.
Jason Bermas's arguments were all the same old stuff you've heard a thousand times: molten metal at Ground Zero, NORAD drills on the morning of 9/11, Barry Jennings and Michael Hess were "blown up" in WTC7 (his words, though I'm not sure how they could be blown up and live to talk about it), etc. I asked him why Barry Jennings disagrees with him and Dylan in the BBC documentary and he responded that Barry Jennings only disagrees about there being dead bodies in WTC7, which isn't true... Barry Jennings says that he doesn't believe the government would do something like this, and says "I honestly don't believe them" (meaning the Loose Change guys). I asked him if he still believes that the Apollo moon landings were faked, and his response was kind of funny (he believes we have been to the moon, just not with rocket technology... so with what then??? Teleportation???).
One thing I asked him but didn't get on video tape (I'd stopped recording after about 20 minutes to save video tape and battery power) was about Dylan's pledge to donate about $4 million to 9/11 victims' causes. He got rather pissed at this point and said he doesn't have $4 million dollars and that Dylan said that, not him. There were about half a dozen other people filming us so maybe one of them will upload the video of that.

Strange that Ron is so polite and calm when facing twoofie twoofers face to face.
Does he have any other tactic other than the "the FDNY was in on it" gambit?
Well, that gambit is not his, it's the twoofers. It's only fair when twoofers start accusing the FDNY of being involved for him to call them on it. So I think as long as these braniacs keep making arguments such as Larry telling the NYFD to demolish the building, then Ron will continue to ask them about them accusing the FDNY of being in on it.
So the real question is why you have no problem with people accusing the FDNY, but you do have a problem with people questioning those people.

that would be a straw man logical fallacy (http://www.fallacyfiles.org/strawman.html)and an argument from incredulity logical fallacy (http://skepticwiki.org/index.php/Argument_from_Incredulity)combined
I guess if you cant clap your hands as fast as objects fall like domino's this video is fake

Ron is always polite with truther and non truther alike. Ron has repeated numerous times that "Pomeroo", his username here, is sort of an "id" without the ego (and perhaps without he superego for that matter).

No, I missed that.
But, hey, we all love a good bit of humor. Why don't you tell us about it and what you find so humorous? And what it has to do with this thread, which is about the miserable lack of turnout your "movement" has on their biggest day of the year.
I mean 120 to 200 people? This would be like the Celtic Society getting a turnout of twenty on St. Andrew's day.

In case anyone's wondering, here was the biggest twoofer rally in all of Canada on 9/11/08.

Looks like 60 or so. "A very successful truth action by any standard," according to the organizers (http://marchonottawa2008.org/).
Which I suppose is true for people who usually get a crowd of 4 or 5.

Along with the usual self-promotion, Bermas honestly admits the turnout in NYC for the seventh anniversary of the 9/11 attacks was pathetic (the fault of the media, natch) and he makes a very interesting statement beginning at the 00:57 mark in the video about plans for the tenth anniversary of 9/11.
Did I hear him right? He has admitted that his movement has gained no traction in seven years, that the 9/11 culprits will continue to go unexposed and unpunished but something big is planned for 2011.
(Also dig those yellow-shirted paid security goons glowering in the background, particularly the one adjusting his skivvies. You can tell they’re hired security because they are both at least two decades older than the average truther. They sure picked up an easy paycheck that day.)

What a moron. He tried this exact same thing, almost word for word, on me about Popular Mechanics saying a third of the building was scooped out. Word for word...
Jason: That f'ing building right there (pointing to WTC7), they initially said in that f'ing Popular Mechanics that one third of it was scooped out. 10 stories.
Me: Was Popular Mechanics an engineering report?
Jason: Yes.
Me: No it wasn't. It wasn't a government report.
Jason: Shyam Sunder said it out of NIST. He was on behalf of NIST.
Me: That was a f'ing hypothesis. Do you know the difference between a hypothesis and a conclusion?
Jason: I f'ing disproved it.
I love how Jason believes "he" somehow disproved it.

Funny. You call Silverstein a liar and accuse all the Flight 93 crash scene investigators of being liars. You will not actually send anyone an e-mail or give anyone a phone call to learn about the events of 9/11; instead, you come to JREF and DEMAND that we do all of your research for you. When you wonder whether the FBI has documentation on Flight 93, you don't ask the FBI, instead you ask JREF. You are the biggest internet coward of them all.

You must not have listened to Ron very well then.
Why is it strange that he is "so polite"?
Many members of your movement have been on his show.
MHO he acting very professional while interviewing the truthers.

I do see validity to your point, but I think that is universal. Most if not all people online, find it much easier to express themselves forcefully (good or bad) when they (A) have an element of anonymity (which Ron does not), and/or (B) do not have to face the person directly, and all the drama that goes with it.
However, I suspect most of Ron's online antics as Pomeroo, are out of frustration and disgust, not out of anger or hatred.

What silly little strawman argument are you on about now? I never called you an "internet bully" and never would because, first of all, I would have properly capitalized the word Internet if I were to use it; secondly, you come across as a whiny little sniveller more than anything else; and thirdly, you are not the least bit intimidating to anyone in any fashion.
You are correct that there are many things that I, and others, can criticize you for, and those are the very things about which I, and others, criticize you. Your disingenuous insinuations and claims to the contrary are just silly, and why on earth you wish to brand yourself as an "Internet bully" when you are merely a snivelling keyboard whiner is quite beyond me.
How about sticking to the subject matter of the OP for a change, instead of trying to deflect every thread in which you post to your favourite subject - you? That would be a very welcome change.

Very much looking forward to the video, RKOwens, thanks!

Pathetic, isn't it? Heck, I can get more than 60 people among my own personal contacts to an impromptu gathering with less than 48 hours notice and for no particular reason, and yet the "truth" movement can't get more than 60 people out of a pool of millions to show up after a concerted effort over several months and/or years to expose the crime of the century?
Truly pathetic.
Is that the final upshot of the great March on Ottawa?
ETA: Never mind... didn't see your link. The links from there to Montreal and Toronto 911 are pretty sad.
Very sad, indeed, for the "truth" movement. But that is probably to be expected when a self-proclaimed 'movement' gives itself a wholly disingenuous name and encourages its members to make complete and utter fools of themselves repeatedly. Eventually, the movement's own press catches up with it, and there is nothing left to do but either ignore the idiocy entirely (as most of the media has done) or point and laugh (as most of the balance of the media has done).
