Yeah, I got sausage fingers today and the edit function doesn't allow you to change the title.
Actually, that's not the response I expected some smartass to make.

Well, the difference is quite easy...
One
-George W. Bush was not and is not actually all that religious. He essentially pretended to be to use the Religious Right to help prop him up and provide him with votes. Later on he used the Faith Based Initiatives for the same reason. You might not believe me, but do a search for "Tempting Faith" by an author named David Kuo.
-Sarah Palin is a religious wacko, she's the real deal folks. She truly does believe. The fact that recently she started attending a non-denominational church seems to reflect this as she was trying to tone it down and cover up the full extent of it to avoid looking like a nut, and just a religious individual.
-Sarah Palin will be Vice President, however considering how old McCain is, and that he had skin cancer (currently in remission), and is not in the best health, it is possible that he might die in office allowing her to take over. Either that or in 2012 she'll run for President. It's very common for VP's to do that.

Yep, more of the "all Republicans are == to Bush" stuff. This is just so rich and completely intellectually dishonest.
Bush's initially winning the primaries didn't sit well with alot of Conservatives, because he was seen as not really all that conservative. He seemed wishy washy, and had demonstrated a desire to "reach across the isle" and "work with democrats" in Texas. He also showed this on numerous occasions during his presidency like the trying to get amnesty for illegal aliens. This was clearly pandering to a racial group and going against the parties beliefs and desires.
But he's turned into Hitler in the last 8 years apparently.
McCain, who is very likely the most moderate Republican out there (outdone only by Lincoln Chafee in the past). He's certainly our most Liberal member.. closest to the left on most issues. Well known for being a "maverick" against his party and Bush in general. Often doing things that pissed off Conservatives more than you can imagine.
Now, he's suddenly Bush Jr. Completely the same. No change whatsoever. The guy that the left proudly proclaimed was the "only republican they could ever vote for" just 8 years ago. Now he's McBush Jr.
And then there is Palin, who the OP is talking about. She is the most conservative and "typically republican" of them all, by far. She is why the base is energized, having had to settle for McCain the arrogant renegade for our parties nod. Because she is truly a conservative and seems to believe in all the right things, moreso than McCain by far, and then Bush by at least a little bit. She is the furthest "right" of them all. She is the "strongest" of them all, to conservatives.
And you equate her to Bush.
Intellectually dishonest on so many levels. To not acknowledge that all three of these people actually represent three completely different positions on the "right wing" chart. McCain being most close to the "center". Bush being right in the middle between "center" and "far right", and Palin being much more to the "far right".
This equivicating and lumping them all together is really getting on my nerves. Doesn't it bother you guys to be so completely dishonest in your ravings?

When Palin speaks, we all say "WHAT?" as in "She did NOT say THAT!"

The fact that recently she started attending a non-denominational church seems to reflect this as she was trying to tone it down and cover up the full extent of it to avoid looking like a nut, and just a religious individual.
She was born a Catholic (in Idaho) but converted to a Penetcostal Church in Wasilla. Worshippers speak in tongues and they do faith healing. This gives her foreign language diplomatic experience, comprehension of the way our legislators speak and, of course, solves the "health care problem" as far as she is concerned.
She can also see Russia from somewhere in Alaska but she's not sure where that is. This will help her to deal with the Russians. Oh, and don't forget, Alaska used to be Russian. She has single handedly stopped the Russians from invading Alaska like they invaded Georgia. If only they had Sara in Georgia, none of this would've happened.
