No more to Greater Israel. Atleast one Israeli has finally come to his senses. Too bad he'll probably be in prison in a few months.

Wow, that's quite impressive, indeed. Parky, could you tell us what the
next PM's stance is regarding the issue?

anyone on this Earth who has a brain knows that the vast majority of the West Bank will have to be let go to become Palestine. The only ones who disagree with this are nationalistic or religous extremist nuts and bigots.

Yes, this is quite obvious - but I heard that a Women may get the next
PM - and I don't know her stance about this issue yet. Do you know more
about it?

It is her name - and I honestly have to look into her history to make
an estimation regarding what Olmert recently said. The Telegraph notes
that...

She has been closely involved in the latest, year-long round of negotiations with the Palestinians, and many observers believe she would be more likely to continue the talks, with a goal of creating an independent state, than Mofaz, her closest rival now, and Benjamin Netanyahu, the head of the opposition Likud, who would be her main rival in a future general election.

It's nice to see Olmert saying this. Too bad he says it at a moment he's already become irrelevant - but then, Olmert never grew a spine. A year ago, I had the faint hope that Olmert and Abbas, realizing their dire predicaments, would do the only thing which could salvage their careers: sit around the table and hammer out a peace, without outside pressure to get them there.

Livni indeed seems not the worst choice. How are the polls now, and is there a chance on a Labour/Kadima coalition without the need for nasty coalition partners as Avigdor Lieberman?

I had thought that the negotiation years ago at Camp David were about the end of "greater Israel". Were the negotiations in bad faith?

It is dead until such time as it is not dead anymore. It will not be dead 10 seconds after likud wins an election...

I think a lot of Israeli's have thought that all along, if Haaretz is any guide.
