Says the phrase "Time is running out" is unacceptable. I suppose 12 years is merely a drop in the bucket to the eternity he is willing to give Sadaam? Without strong rhetoric you can forget Sadaam doing anything-- did not the last decade prove that? Someone please enlighten me on how the phrase "Time is running out" is anything but acceptable.

it contradicts the assertion that no timetable has been set on Iraq.

Both statements have been made by George & co and appear to be contradictory.

So because the political will to enforce Iraq's ceasefire obligations didn't exist 2 years ago we shouldn't do anything now? Did we somehow thereby lose the moral high ground??

1939
Hitler: I'm going to invade Poland
Chamberlain: Please don't. It'll cause a war, don't you know.
Hitler: What! You let me take Austria and then the Sudatenland and now you say that I can't go on!
Chamberlain: This time we mean it. We're serious!
Hitler: You should have stood up to me earlier, now you've abrogated the moral high ground! You warmonger!

Edited to add ...and a strawman : I didn't say or imply any of that. I didn't suggest that we should do nothing now just because we did nothing two years ago.

Saddam violated his surrender agreement. That's why.

They left because Iraq was not cooperating.

They left because they were ordered out so that the bombing could begin.

:D Why they wanted to begin the bombing is not covered by my statement.

I would still like JK to pinpoint when Sadaam violated the agreement. :)

Probably about 30 seconds after the first round of arms inspectors said "Right, now all these weapons you have....could you show us where they are please?"
