A simple way to show that the "squibs" are definitely NOT explosive charges.

First, have a look at said "squib":

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3gKv-6bivqo

Key characteristics: continuous and intensifying over time.

Now, the hypothesis is that these "squibs" are explosive charges. So, for comparison, we will need an ACTUAL explosive charge. And, the blast will have to be coming out of a confined space, the same way that the "squib" was coming out of a small window. Hmmm, where can we find something like this?

Aha! A civil war replica!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o322s8Y9kIk

Key characteristics: instantaneous. There is no intensification over time, as with the "squib", because the entire burst takes place over a split second. It's also quite LOUD.

Squibs =/= explosive charges. There we go.

Really, I just wanted an excuse to post a video of a cool civil war replica. But, it works just as well for debunking stupidity.

...I take it the "squibs" debate is finally dead?

Hopefully.

Is radical_logic still working on his opening for your debate, or is that dead?

Yeah, he said it would take some time.

Squibs went on the bottom of the scrap heap a while ago... right next to the WTC planes firing missiles into the buildings "seconds" before impact. Times are tougher for truthism, though, so it might well make a comeback.
