Getting plenty of therapy from my local psychic, astrologer and tarot reader so the pain of being banned is starting to abate. Had a quick look and Gosman seems to be the only one posting there now. I sometimes think he’s as much a believer as a sceptic, but it could just be a clever ruse he uses to stay “in the game” (hope so). Lilly (the intelligent, honest believer) doesn’t seem to post anymore either. I could rejoin as many time as I like using a proxy server and email addresses but don’t see the point. Their forum is as biased and dishonest as their SM program.

NZ On Air is assuming responsibility for administering TVNZ's Government funding soon, but will have no role in the commitment of funding towards individual programmes until July 2009. Hope this means that shows like SM won’t get such funding in the future.

Before we aussies get too self-righteous, our own taxpayer-funded ABC has run a fair share pseudoscientific rubbish over the years (was Psychic Detectives one? Can't be bothered looking it up).

TVNZ funded it as “entertainment” but presents it as “realty”. It won the recent Qantas media ward for “best reality programme”. I would say that entertainment presented as reality is a form of “fake science”.
