The problem was, it went too tasteless to be funny. Especially the seperate but equal part.

Not to mention a good dose of GM foods woo woo.

No, it wasn't funny. It was crass and cheap, not to mention wrong.

This is why I hate politics in general. It's a flat out lie, it's insulting, and I don't appreciate it, regardless of where it comes from, or who it's about. I don't agree with the characterization that Democrats want to lose the war, and are out to turn this nation into some sort of Socialist zombie pit.

Why, Ben? I just don't get it.

In fact, forget I asked. I hate this kind of bullsh**, and wish like hell we'd get past it so we could actually work on solutions.

I agree, as would probably be obvious to anyone who has read my posts here this last month+. But I expect what you said will fall completely on deaf ears. I've lost any respect for Ben some time ago. He's hopeless.

How so? I'm already eager to see 4 years of Jon Stewart mocking Palin and McSame. :popcorn1

The same reason you see all this crap: A Use Any Tactic To Win Mentality..and,sadly, it seems to be growing with both sides.
The response to the BS about Obama palling around with Terrorist will be to portray Palin as some kind of Honorary KKK member.

To be fair, we have been getting crap like this for a long time from the GOP. But The Dems to not seem to realise that if they use the same tactics they sort of give up any creditbility when they accuse the GOP of dirty campaigning, however true it might be. It called "The Clean Hands Doctrine",that you have to have clean hands yourself if you accuse anybody of having dirty hands.

Frankly, after the demagoguery of the past 8 years, the republicans deserve everything coming to them.

Maybe they do, but do we deserve it, too?

Just a bit of advice: If you continue to pay for bullsh**, you'll continue to get bullsh**.
