OK, who's going?

Since TAA 5 seems to have fallen through, I'm now considering this one. But I want to see if any of the cool people (i.e. not Rebecca) are going.

So I'll start the list:

1) The Central Scrutinizer (maybe)

Cleon

2) Cleon
3) Hutch (aka "cruise roomie")

I'm going, but I don't know that I qualify as cool to Scrut.

I hope to go with Geek Goddess, if I can get a ride to the boat!

I may even volunteer to give my informative talk on Mexican UFOs and Vampire Aliens.

Hey, those vampire aliens are dangerous. People should know about them. Me, I'm not leaving the boat with all those vampire aliens and chupacabras.

1) The Central Scrutinizer (maybe)

That's enough for a no for me. :p

Seriously though, I've been feeling poor lately with the loss of O.T. hours, but my mom is trying to sell her house and told me I'm getting a portion of the proceeds so I might be able to overcome my fiscal trepidation and take a future cruise. As much as I'd love to take another cruise, I think TAMs only might be in my future. :(

Let me think about it. But I am leaning toward cool.

My advice would be to skip all future JREF events.

Well, Cleon already spoke for me, but I am definitely coming on the Cruise.

Now if those #@%$@$ frequent flier miles I've earned can comp me a decent ticket....

I, alas, must be counted out. Drat this substance called money! I will have to make my TAM/TAA debut at TAM 7 in July.

However, if I have moved to L.A. by the time of the cruise, I'll be happy to join in/contribute to any pre/post cruise festivities.

Actually, I've had a better offer.

Wow, another thread on the cruise!

Stirling and I are going (from Alaskan Adventure)

Do I have to show evidence of how cool we are? Cause we are considered the "fun group" Let me ask around and see if I fall into the cool category. I do remember Stirling telling me a few months ago that he thinks I am a cool mom, but I have no witnesses to that admission.

How is the term "cool" defined?

Travis has me on his MySpace page as one of his heroes.

Of course, I'm not allowed to talk to him in public, you understand. Someone might see.

Does this mean you are a lingering doubt?

Sorry

I have at least a bit of myself.

I only use these kind of jokes about once every 6 months or so.
