Connecting Iraq and Al Qaeda: What's It Worth? Apparently, $20+ million to the Bush administration.
$25 million reward for al-Qaida figure (http://msnbc.com/news/986615.asp)
U.S. pursues Jordanian said to be involved in Iraq attacks
"Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, believed by U.S. officials to be the leading al-Qaida figure operating inside Iraq, has quietly joined the exclusive list of terrorists who has a $25 million reward on his head. He joins only Saddam Hussein, Osama bin Laden and bin Laden’s two deputies, Ayman al Zawahiri and Saif al-Adil, on that elite list."
Apparently, and Al-Qaeda connection is worth a $20 million premium (based on what the garden variety Al-Qaeda command). That's more than Saddam's fiendish sons commanded as a reward. The administration probably used some of their fine intelligence to pull this one out of their behinds. Or maybe they sweated his name out of the prisoners in Guantanamo (the ones they have kept there for almost 2 years - you know they really have a lot of current info to spill).
The logical inference the average American will probably make from this: He's plotting to attack America next... just as Bush and Cheney said... glad those guys are on the ball... see, there really was a connection between 9/11 and Saddam... even if it is after the fact... I guess we should invade Jordan next... or maybe re-invade Afghanistan...
Bush can say or do anything, and SOMEONE will believe it makes sense. I'm laughing, I hope you are too...
