What a curious ad placement. I wonder if I pop online with another EA title (skate.) if the ad will show.
Then again, Burnout is a bad place for it, since those games are about going at blistering speeds. Nobody'll ever have time to read it.

Fair point but when I was younger (15 or so years ago) we would pause games just to check out things inside the world. After a while, when you beat a game a few times you go around looking for new things. Also, it's a pretty cool Easter-egg sort of thing.
I don't think it is going to be a huge success but I do think it targets the people he is looking for and I don't think it cost him a ton of cash either.

Actually, in Burnout Paradise you can smash through a lot of billboards and unlike previous installments it's "free roaming," as in you have to drive around to find events to compete in, rather than chosing from a list like any civilized game would allow me. Why the **** do I have to spend ten minutes driving back to the same interesction I was at to restart a race I've failed? Who's idea was it to waste my precious video gaming ti- Oh, I should vote for Obama.
