I had the pleasure of breaking this story LIVE on Fox today as a "Fox News Alert"...during my appearance with my old friend John Fund.

They then ran it the story at the top of the hour news, and added it to their crawl. Would they have done that if I wasn't there to break it for them? Just asking...

Trying to get the video of my Fox appearance up now. If the gods are with me, it'll be at BRAD BLOG by morn...

I'm confused, why is a CA GOP contractor working for Obama?

The Brad Blog? Where have I heard of that before? It rings some vague warning bell.

Is there another source for this?

Here is the LA Times story (http://www.latimes.com/news/local/la-me-fraud20-2008oct20,0,3842357.story).

For now, I'm going to extend him the same benefit of the doubt I do in the case of ACORN.

Let's be consistent, please.

I think consistency is all that's necessary.

Damn, where's Whiplash when you need him?

Has ACORN been arrested?

Has ACORN been arrested?

Well, let's just let the 48-hour rule play out and see if this turns out to be legit. If it is, I will of course acknowledge that. The allegations seem to be more serious in this case than in what I've heard about regarding ACORN.

If you want, I'll be outraged and offended by your bias and intellectual dishonesty. :dqueen:

This is just too consistant with the charges that have been made against Republican canvassers to be totally bogus.

Brad Bl;og also brings up the case of Sproul Associates and their shredding of Democratic registration forms in Nevada.

This is why ACORN had to turn in all the bogus forms along with the good ones.

The GOP is whining about ACORN now because they knew Jacoby was going down.

Thom Hartmann has had Greg Palast on his show a lot lately and Palast mentions Jacoby's operation a lot, going back over a year.

The reason the acorn story is big is because:
the problems with acorn can be portrayed (rightly or wrongly) to be systemic
acorn has ties to barack obama, and the GOP wishes to tarnish his win

The reason this isn't a story is:
it doesnt appear to be systemic
lack of association

Not just ONE employee. A contractor employing many.

Just more proof that both Parties will twist and evade election laws if they think it is to their advantage to do so.
Once again, the ability of Partisans on both sides to see all the evil on one side and all the good on the other astounds me.

Hush now, don't you know it can be rude to tell the truth!?

Why is this the only place I've seen this story?? It is not on the news. It's not even on Fox News, where it was supposed to be. Why? Could it be there is no story here? No legs? A political witch hunt?
