View Full Version : Dr. Aafia Siddiqui: The Grey Ghost Lady of Bagram

Shortly after September 11th 2001, Pakistani neuroscientist Aafia Siddiqui who was living in Massachusetts, left the United States for Pakistan. US authorities soon discovered that a Maryland post Box in Siddiqui’s name was used to transfer funds to suspected terrorists. Siddiqui herself is married to suspected terrorist and guantanamo inmate Ammar al-Baluchi.
In 2003, Siddiqui disappeared. In 2004 she was put on an American Most wanted list.
In July 2008 she was arrested by Afghan police and allegedly found with all sorts of terror related evidence on her. American forces came to question her. Allegedly, when they arrived Siddiqui jumped out from behind a curtain, grabbed a gun that was lying on the floor and took a shot at the Americans. One American returned fire and hit her in the gut. She was arrested and sent back to the US to face charges for the assault on the officers.
The conspiracy:
many Pakistanis, Muslims, and conpsiracy lovers believe she was kidnapped by the ISI (Pakistan Intelligence Agency) in 2003 and sold with her 3 kids to the Americans. The Americans tortured and raped her in Bagram prison for 5 years and then one day decided to let her go with her son in Afghanistan, only to re-arrest her, shoot her and bring her back for a public trial.
This is a popular and growing conspiracy that fuels anti-americanism.

Evidence of her arrest in Pakistan in 2003?
There is no solid evidence she was arrested by the ISI in 2003. It is much more likely she went into hiding with her children on her own accord.
The first "Evidence: the Siddiqui sympathizers will give you are the numerous reports of her being arrested by Pakistani security in 2003.
There are dozens of such reports. They all have one thing in common, they state that another news source reported it.
Like this NBC report:
U.S. intelligence officials are reportedly interrogating a Pakistani woman alleged to have moved funds and assisted with logistics planning for al-Qaida
According to the Press Trust of India in an article published on its Web site Thursday, the woman has been identified as 31-year-old Aafia Siddiqui, who was being sought by U.S. officials last week along with two other men, including one whose last known address was in Miramar, Fla.
According to the PTI, Siddiqui was arrested in Karachi recently after returning from an overseas trip last month. The service quoted reports in the Boston Globe and Oklahama (TV) News Channel's Web site.
The article (like all the others!)is clearly just quoting another report from an Indian news website. That Indian website has since withdrawn the original report!! Because it was an error!!
Why would the Press Trust of India get the scoop on an arrest in Pakistan while the Pakistani papers missed it? Clearly this was an error.
Yet the brainless Siddiqui sympathizers are fooled by this media game of musical chairs that lead to nowhere.

Did a Pakistani minister confirm in 2003 that Dr. Siddiqui and her kids were in custody?
Dr, Siddiqui's sister, Fauzia, says she was told by then Interior Minister Syed Faisal Saleh Hayat in 2004 that her sister had been released and would return home shortly.
but Mr. Saleh denies that siddiqui was ever arrested!!!
If he is now lying to cover up the kidnapping of children he is a devil! You think anyone is bothering him about it? Of course not!
He is now the President of Pakistan Football Federation. No one is bothering him about Siddiqui.
How could this happen? I'll tell you. When Muslims hope something to happen or expect something to happen they say Inshallah (If God wills it)
So perhaps he said something like "Inshallah they will be home soon" meaning I hope they will be home soon. But Siddiqui's sister being a paranoid conspiracy nut or a liar herself represented it as a promise they would return.
This is a major piece of evidence that the conspirists hold dearly.

Moazzam Begg (a known marxist, and former British Taliban) claims to have heard screams while he was in Bagram prison. He assumes that these screams are from an imprisoned woman.
After being released he writes a book about his experience with the help of fellow marxist Victoria Brittain who helps him make his book more entertaining.
A third british marxist Yvonne Ridley and Muslim convert (converted by Taliban) reads his book and adds to the assumption that the supposed imprisoned woman is in fact Dr. Siddiqui.
Add to that the additional unfounded rumours of torture, rape, sharing toilets and they have quite a marketable horror story.
The three of them are making thousands off book sales and speaking engagements.
Is it a coincidence that all three marxists knew each other? Is it a coincidence that they happened to formulate such a horrific story that portrays capitalist America as a country that kidnaps children and rapes women?
Begg may have heard voices but Dr. Siddiqui has one upped him. She actually sees her daughter in her cell. So maybe he heard a soft voiced Taliban whimpering, maybe he heard a female soldier crying because she's stuck guarding dirty Taliban types. Maybe he heard crying from the Bagram hospital.
Marxists have one thing in common. They all hate capitalist America. This story is just a story inspired by hate for America. But it is enough to convince millions the US tortured this woman.

I have a personal diagnostic test for agenda-driven hatefreakery. It requires a written text for input.
Here's how it works: using a word processor's find-and-replace function, change all the references to a targeted group in the text to "Jew". If the result smells like it was scraped off the composing room floor at Der Stürmer the test is positive.
Try it with "BOB"'s screed above, replacing the word "Marxist".

What the hell does hate freakery have to do with this? I don't hate marxists.
Marxism is an ideology in direct opposition to Capitalism. The US is heart of capitalism.
When 3 people who conspire to develop a conspiracy to smear the US, and they all turn out to be marxists, I think it is a notable factor. My supposition does not depend on it. I just thought it was worth mentioning.
BTW, I'm not haphazardly labeling them as marxists. They are regular headliners of marxist rallies in Britain. I'd provide the links but I'm still too new here.

Well, certainly those are three groups who have historically promoted critical thinking and never rush to conclusions based on paranoia, hatred, or a lack of understanding about the world in general... so I'm convinced.

So, the irony here is that some Marxists decided to invent this horrible story to make lots of money, incite lots of hatred and maybe at some point, if they have time, help the working man. I'm guessing they read Das Kapital V2.0 with the foreword by Warren Buffett.

This thread title evokes images of a specter in a burqa, haunting the soccer field at midnight. She's flying a kite and looking for work.

God no, I don't believe it. It is plausible that when she was arrested that a trigger happy soldier shot her when he didn't have to and they covered that up, but the part about her being imprisoned and tortured and raped and her kids being imprisoned as well is just unfounded.

I got loads of links and I'll post them as soon as I have 15 posts.
It's actually fascinating how so many people can get swept up in the hysteria without asking for real evidence.

Casey Anthony, the Florida chick who killed her 3 year old daughter because she was a drag on her social life tried the same ******** the Siddiquis are trying. Florida people might not be able to figure out how to use a ballot box but they can spot a liar quick enough (unlike many Pakistanis).
She didn't report her child missing for 30 days and later said she knew where she was but was being threatened not to reveal it.
The Siddiquis didn't (and still haven't) reported Aafia and her kids missing. Their reason? They were being threatened not to do so. They were gone for 5 years! No report! Why would the "kidnappers" threaten them and then let the son go? (The only child old enough to remember what happened)
Why do they not fill a report now? They are publicly claiming they were kidnapped.
The reason is this. If they make an official missing persons report now, the police will come to their house and interview Ahmed (the 12 year old who is home now.) He is too young to lie convincingly. He would spill the beans that neither he, his mother or his siblings have been in custody for the past 5 years.
Why would they try this doomed ******** kidnapping story if Aafia is really innocent? They wouldn't. She is not.

Dr. Siddiqui has a really great sister, god bless her. If I was imprisoned somewhere I’d like to think my sister would do as good a job at creating hysteria about my situation.
“Dr Fouzia said that the institution court ordered Aafia to be sent to its Carswell Psychiatric Centre. This is a notorious facility in the US known as a “House of Horror”. It has a documented history of physical, psychological, and sexual abuse (even by medical professionals, priests and prison guards). If rape and torture is being inflicted with the collaboration with legal, medical and security people AKA Partners in crime against humanity, she added.”

The truth is however, that Carswell Psychiatric Centre is a top notch facility. The only reason she is there is that Siddiqui’s lawyers were demanding that she be moved to a place where she could get psychological help.
Olympic star Marion Jones spent 6 months there last year but had no complaints of being raped and tortured.

In fact the doctor was just visited by a Pakistani delegation and they spoke to her for a long time.
“Dr. Siddiqui, who was pleased to meet the delegation, appeared in a good state of mind and in better physical health than when he met her in August in New York”
“According to Faqir Hussain, the stomach infection she complained of was gone and her bullet wound was on the mend. “
It’s a miracle how she recovered from a gunshot wound with no medical care (siddiqui saps claimed she was denied medical attetntion).
“Asked as to what was Dr. Aafia’s biggest concern, Faqir Hussain felt she wanted to go back to Pakistan at the earliest and was concerned about her children.”
I guess it slipped the doctor’s mind to complain about the torture and rapes. She is concerned about her children? That is a little vague isn’t it? Why no mention they were kidnapped and tortured with her for 5 years?

Siddiqui will pass her unnecessary psychological evaluation and stand trial. The web of lies the Pakistani people eagerly swallowed will soon be revealed.

OK last post until I can put up links. This is a HUGE deal in Pakistan and throughout the muslim world. Millions of people consider it a fact that the US bought this woman and her kids from the ISI and tortured them for 5 years. The story looks like a complete lie but the Pakistani parliament is buying into it (they want to appease the public).

It sure does. I'm like one of those CIA dudes in Afghanistan with a fake beard and turbin. The administrators of the site have searched and found me here so now they no that I have infiltrated them but they will never find out which one I am. Anyway I think the case is quite fascinating (the whole aspect how mis-information in the third world and internet gains validity through repetition)
