Where he basically lays out the idea that Palin - or at least someone like her is the future of the republican party by appealing to the fear and ignorance of the disgruntled white middle class and blame the brown hoards!

Is this guy for real!? This is a real plan for the future of the republican party?
I don't know who this guy is but I find it both frightening and pathetic.
It's not like this hasn't been tried by the ultra right before with DISSASTROUS consequences in every case!

The centrist right DOES have a valid point about smaller more efficient government IF;

instead of selling out to the top 2% and actually REALLY support the fictional "Joe the plumber" kind of business owners like me.
and cut taxes for those who ACTAULLY invest in job creation HERE instead of in china.
and yes - here comes a dirty word - install a certain level of protectionism that promotes investment here instead of overseas.

BUT NO - Lets appeal to the base of human nature with a bimbo and blame the
imaginary boogie men and the great brown hoard. HOW Friggin SAD.

Does she even know who Willie Horton is?

Do you? ;) (Without a wiki event?)

I know she's never heard of him.

But I live in the state, and while the adds certainly had racist overtones thrown in it just to amp up the volume, I think that the racism factor was secondary in the Horton thing. I think that they would have run the same add had Ted Bondy or John Wayne Gaicy (sp) been from Dukakis' home state. I think fact that Horton was black was just a bonus the repugs were too overjoyed to exploit.

Is she actually blaming the brown hoards for anything? Other than hoarding the browns, obviously.
