I dont know whether to laugh..or to cry.
More about fluoride in Prozac. Now fluoride is in Sarin gas.
Do they not understand that the chemical compound, that has 4 or 5 individual atoms as part of the compound, DOES NOT have ANY of the properties of the single atoms..but has properties UNIQUE to that compound?????
Carbon Monoxide and Carbon Dioxide BOTH have carbon and oxygen, yet the properties of each compound are very different then the other compound, and the individual atoms. I guess Alex Jones thinks CO and CO2 are the same thing huh?
Oy vey. Thats all I can say.

sarin: C4H10FO2P
note the carbon, hydrogen and oxygen, guess those are all bad too, forget about fluoride in the water, theres water in the water!

That is not Alec Jones personally, but a couple of his lackeys, just to be accurate. But horrible woo all the same.
Hey, I could see Jones going into a rant about "We Must Preserve Our Precious Bodily Fluids" though.

I do agree this is ridiculous on its face, and a perfect fit for the panic-mongering conspiratainers at Prison Planet. It reminds me of something I saw about how the oceans contain dangerous and rising levels of hydrogen dioxide, or actually i guess Di-hydro - oxide - or ??? Anyway, it made it sound all spooky and toxic but it's just water.
Tho actually considering all the ice melting into it and depleting the saline content, it's true the oceans have too much water in them. :eye-poppi

They’re falling for DHMO too?
My god, that one’s probably older than half the members there!

And what does this have to do with the point of the article - the fact that they're medicating children's milk in the UK with a neurotoxin?

"water fluoride levels over 2.0 mg/L can cause damage to liver and kidney functions in children.”
"2.0 mg is routinely exceeded daily by means of intake through milk, tea, toothpaste, fish, crops irrigated with fluoridated water and some medicines and food processed using fluoridated water. through food."
Does anyone else see the faulty logic in these two quotes together?

Oy vey. Thats all I can say.Same with chlorine - Splenda replaces a H atom with a Cl atom in sugar and it becomes poisonous----according to the chemistry know-nothings out there. Or vitamin C is better if it is produced by a plant instead of a Plant.

Wait, are you saying that splenda is poisonous? I use tons of that stuff so how long do i have?

Because the 2 mg is spread over many litres, decreasing the concentration of the flouride ion? Also 2 mg is a lot for a trace ion like F, so much so that I find it very hard to believe that 2 mg is "routinely exceeded daily".

I think he's saying it isn't poisonous, just that some people who don't understand chemistry think that it's poisonous just because it has a Cl atom in it.

um...ive been drinking fluoridated water all my life. i think im doing just fine.
but..wait..i dont think 9-11 was an inside job. it must be because of the fluoride in my water!!!! arrgghhh!!!!!

This is something I realized about conspiracy fantasists a while back on AboveTopSecret:
No matter how utterly stupid the conspiracy is, sites like these will foster it if their owners see something to be gained from it. Supportive voices will be upvoted, frontpaged, reputation-upped, etc. Dissenting voices will be distorted, censored, silenced and banned.

Well, I was going for the fact that 2mg/L is not the same as 2mg/day. A 2mg/L safety level in water is taking into account how much water the average person drinks per day, and how much flouride would transfer to food from cooking with the water. It does not mean a person should not exceed 2mg a day, like the story is saying.
Averages range from 3.0 to 4.0 mg a day of Flouride in areas where water is treated with flouride. (I love the use of the word 'contaminated' in the story) and deemed a healthy level.

Makse sense to me. Given a choice between scientific advice from health professionals and prisonplanet writers, I think I know who to trust. Though in any case it doesn't matter to me because the water here isn't flouridated.

I'm not saying it - the chemical know-nothings are. Using splenda should help prolong your life (less sugar!!).

Unfortunately my wit was lost in translation. :D
I have been using splenda for quite some time(my wife is a fan of the adkins diet to lose those 5 pesky pounds before or after holidays) and I seem to be doing just fine. I had not heard the "splenda is poison" bit before and was just poking fun.

ive heard splenda can be bad, not from a conspiracy standpoint though
apparently the bonding of the chlorine atoms to the sugar molecule makes it so we cant digest it, and it just passes through, although i read some medical studies that (IIRC) said as many as 40% of people will actually digest some of it, and a small percentage would actually digest all of it, and they suggested the chlorine was becoming unbonded from the sugar, so you were getting the calories from sugar, as well as some chlorine
the article didnt go into the effects of ingesting chlorine (i know its very bad to breathe) but im guessing i probably swallowed more chlorine last time i went swimming at the YMCA than i would eating splenda, although i still use real sugar (because it tastes better)
