View Full Version : Biden claims US will have a "generated crisis" to test Obama

"Mark my words," the Democratic vice presidential nominee warned at the second of his two Seattle fundraisers Sunday. "It will not be six months before the world tests Barack Obama like they did John Kennedy. The world is looking. We're about to elect a brilliant 47-year-old senator president of the United States of America. Remember I said it standing here if you don't remember anything else I said. Watch, we're gonna have an international crisis, a generated crisis, to test the mettle of this guy."

Does Biden know something we don't know?

I'd be willing to bet that he knows quite a bit more than "we" do. :D

Is this a Pre-conspiracy theory?

Well I, for one, appreciate Biden pointing out that a President Obama will appear so weak and incompetent that other world powers will go out of their way to cause crises and push him around.

But I can't figure out how he thinks this helps his candidate.

Hi Tippit. Please see this thread:

I'm fairly certain that what he means is that some mischief-maker will cause problems specifically to be a headache and see how much he / she can get away with and / or simply gauge Obama's reaction.

I am not sure why this seems so unusual to everybody. The first few months of a new President's term is probably the best / easiest ones to make mischief in.

I'm pretty sure that Biden thinks that someone is going to try and test Obama's resolve with a Cuban Missile like crisis. Whether he is right or not I have no idea, but when you consider that Iran, North Korea, and even Russia have all been making anti-US moves and noises lately, he's probably right that one of them will try something to see how far they can push a new and relatively inxperienced Obama.

Agreed. To go back to a meme in the primary, if he wins, Obama will get that two clock in the morning phone call somewhere along the line.
Trust the Conspiracy Loons to read a massive conspiracy into this.

That is an odd statement that cuts right to my paranoia cortex. Is it a good idea to compare Obama and JFK? Sure, in a sense, but also bad luck. Or good luck for future President Biden (cynic).

Worst of all, I jusy now noticed this:

Obama Biden 2008
=
Osama Bin Laden 2008

Be very afraid, peeps...

I don"t know. Does Vladimir Putin? Biden is probaly worried about Russia. I"m pretty sure that McCain or Obama would sell the former Soviet states back to Russia like that coward FDR did during WW2. FDR was the bigest fan of Stalin and so was Churchill. Russia still claims that Finland and Estonia were with Nazi Germany during WW2. That is a lie and even if some of it were true its not like Finland and Estonia had any choice.

Haha! Q: who do you think will win the Super Bowl this year?

A: It definitely won't be Vladimir Putin [...] Chechnya [...] Vladislav Kyoverov [...] Estonia [...] Radzidan Klebnikovski [...] murder [...] invasion [...] Ivan Borskelskovrenstiniskevskyov [...] etc.

That's cool, just sayin'.

Does Biden know something we don't know?

Clearly, if Biden wanted to let us in on some secret, he would tell it to us straight, instead of hiding it in some Hollywood riddle. If it's safe enough for paranoid nutjobs, it's safe enough for the general public.

I find your insinuation to be entirely illogical and without merit.

Does Biden know something we don't know?

Obviously he did! But now we all know!

I just wanted to repeat for emphasis how we know it will be another Al Qaeda attack:

Obama Biden 2008
=
Osama Bin Laden 2008

It's uncanny folks! It can't be pure coincidence! Upon further research, the missing letters are S, N, L, A. "A" can be morphed from the extraneous "B" in Obama, leaving only SNL to be inserted. This leads me to suspect Saturday Night Live is involved in this conspiracy, and provides the link between the terrorist mastermind and the new President and VP. Oh, wait, it's still late october. Anyway, This fits in perfectly with Tina Fey's high profile satire/sabotage of Palin, and the known liberal/terrorist lean of the mass media elite.

"Generated" indeed. I'm sure the fluoride thing fits in here somewhere too. ...

However the statement about not having the ability to dictate outcomes in 20 years could indicate that Obama wants to dramatically improve the military-capabilities of our country so we can "dictate outcomes"

It does worry me about the statements about "tough and unpopular decisions"...
