I think we have a programe that both sides can object to. The fundies can go mad over the blasphemy while the sceptics can object to the conspiracy theorys.

Vargas said ABC had not found any proof as to whether Jesus had a wife, but could not completely discount the theory either.
Isn't it amazing how often not being able to prove a negative comes in handy??

It has already drawn criticism from a representative of the Catholic League, Joseph Feo, who said the news special had relied too much on the opinions of Father Richard McBrien of Notre Dame. Ah, the Catholic League -- fighting rear-guard actions against progress out of the 14th century for the benefit of us all!

Here's even a better one, appearing on the same BBC website:
Jesus actor struck by lightning
Actor Jim Caviezel has been struck by lightning while playing Jesus in Mel Gibson's controversial film The Passion Of Christ.
The lightning bolt hit Caviezel and the film's assistant director Jan Michelini while they were filming in a remote location a few hours from Rome.
It was the second time Michelini had been hit by lightning during the shoot.
hmmm
The rest of the story can be found here:
