Here is my exciting prediction -- not of the results, but of some electioneering today.
Republican operatives will unleash the claim that Obama had his grandma offed on the eve of the election so that he could get more sympathy votes.
We report, you decide. Or whatever.
ETA: While this presumably doesn't qualify for the Million dollar prediction, I'm looking for an award for "most appalling prediction."

I disagree, instead what's more likely is that if McCain wins, the left will scream that the election was rigged, and if Obama wins the right will scream that the election was rigged. After the 2000 fiasco, just what do you expect from either party when the race is close?

Predicting the past (http://forums.randi.org/showthread.php?postid=4175198#post4175198) doesn't qualify for the MDC! :)

I was being cynical. I really didn't believe it.
Just when you think some people couldn't stoop any lower.
But Darat, I would like to point out that my academic training was as a historian. Predicting the past is exactly what I was trained to do. I think that should be taken into consideration in my application.

Fringe party members have over-inflated egos. They might be aiming for popularity but those who sink that lower have awfully low standards. The more publicized complaints will largely surround voter fraud, among other things.

I don't like either the Dems or the GOP very much, but the third parties I like even less.
I have noted that the third parties are much more prone to the cult of Personality then the two major parties are. Look at the Libertarians..they nominated somebody who was not even a Libertatiran until a few months ago when he figured his career in the GOP was dead.
