But when I heard about Obama's grandmother's passing away, the radio anouncer stated that the Hawaii county where she lived had recieved her absentee vote a couple days before and all I could think was wow, what a way to uphold the fine democratic tradition of voting the cemetary.
Yeah, I know. I couldn't help myself.

I was working on the phone system of a senior living center the day before the election, and two Obama supporters were with the assistant director checking off a list of Democrat registered dead or moved voters. I had to laugh. All I could think of was who the people might be who were going to vote for them. That might not be why they were there, but it's a stronge stereotype in Indiana, and it was good for a chuckle.

There is a thread about the issue somewhere. I think the rule varies but if you die within two weeks of the election and have already cast your ballot then it still counts.
