If Republicans attempt to filibuster everything the Dems propose, does anyone think the Senate rules will be changed to make cloture a majority vote instead of 3/5 of the senate (nuclear option)?

That would be extremely shortsighted of the Democrats. It's not that long ago that this was being discussed with the roles reversed.

Who can say. If they clearly prevent the goverment from functioning they will not be popular, so it would be most likely limted to specific issues that play well to a politicians constituents.

I would be suprised if that got the same support it recieved under the republincans. But it could happen I guess.

I can see the Republicans filibustering rolling back the Bush tax cuts and any kind of national health care plan.

I'm pretty sure the tax cuts are set to expire next year. Meaning, Congress has to pass legislation to KEEP them, not to roll them back.
