with a barrage of the same crap he used against Dubya, including the classic "Obama: The Bankers Choice".
I think both Democrats and The GOP can unite on one issue: Alex Jones is full of it.

I'm not sure what to make of Alex Jones. It's good to question the establishment, but I'm not sure why people like Alex Jones paint a picture of conspiracy. Bankers do have a lot of power. They create our money and control it's supply. Thus they have power over whether we have a roof over our head and jobs and food on the table. This isn't CT it's a fact.
It's also true that to become a successful politician you need to attract the investment of millions and millions of dollars. Therefore those with the most money and political agendas are always going to determine who we get to vote for.
And further you need the media behind you to become a successful politician, which means those who own the media and have political agaendas are always going to have an advantage in helping to determine who we get to vote for.
None of the above is CT, it's a fact of life.
So I can't understand why Alex Jones types try and paint it as conspiracy. It's nothing revolutionary. It's been like it for a very long time. those who have the fattest wallets will always dominate politics.

The council of foreign relations is the 'conspiracy'
of powerful corporations to overthrow the constitution in favour of world corporate govt.

By bankers he means the Rothschild family, doesn"t he? Bankers do have power but bankers do not agree with eachother. Where is the proof that bankers go to some big room and decide everything?

Maybe he means that because Paul Volcker, Jay Rockefeller, George Soros and Warren Buffet supports Obama then that makes him the bankers choice. Isn"t Silvio Berlusconi a banker? I"m pretty sure that Berlusconi, Wallenberg family and the House of Morgan supported John McCain. I guess some of the so called elitists bankers supported McCain? :D

Actually that is a very good point. I asked some NWO True Believers on another board about precisely this point: to what degree is there competition among different blocs of the "NWO"?
And got crickets chirping in response - because this is the biggest blind spot of all NWO theory.
It hits on some facets of our system that are worth looking at: "follow the money", political organs (CFR etc) but I have not really ever been exposed to an NWO CTer who spends some time looking at competition within the NWO - its always about competition between the NWO and the rest of us, the poor deluded saps who are the NWOs biggest "fear" - the NWO is in competition with everyone else BUT the NWO in most formulations.
And this is why AJ's theories and most rabid CT followers have a shallow view of the world. They act like they're doing some "deep" work, really breaking through the veil, but if they were, then why does their analysis stop at the fact that there's an NWO with all these connections? Why not take a look at how some of these connections may be in conflict with each other ideologically or financially? The impression I come away with is that the "NWO Agenda" is monolithic and adhered to in all its particulars by all members - there are no debates over implementation, no debates over policy.
I asked them also if there were any parts of the world NOT under NWO control - were there "baby NWOs" say in SE Asia that the North American/European NWO is competing against?
Again, no answer. One thing is for sure, most NWO theory is very Eurocentric. It's like the eastern hemisphere is pretty much forgotten in most formulations - but I find it hard to believe that the Chinese for example, are part of "the" NWO given their unique history....

I guess Enron, WorldCom, Bear Stearns, Washington Mutual, Wachovia and Lehman Brothers were NWO outcasts or something. I mean how could any of these huge corporations fail and go bankrupt if they control everything?

The appointment of Emmanuel seems to have sent Jones over the edge. Today he is not even hiding his Anti Semitism. I started a thread about this.

I was convinced that the first line of dudalb's OP would read:

Well, he didn't use those immortal words of Triumph the Comic Insult Dog, but he was close. :D

Wrong. It's jumping to conclusions.
I would like to know how many semesters of economics you have taken, and what exactly you learned in any of them to lead you to believe that "influence over the money supply" = "means to take away the roof over your head, your job, and your food".
Why take classes in Economics when you can just listen to the Alex Jones Show!
