Wrong!! The moon landing was indeed faked. Here's the proof

It is here because Galileo has a bit of trouble with reading comprehension. You of all people should be able to empathize with his problem.

I have to wonder if the OP just discovered Dave Scott's Apolloo 15 hammer and feather trick which probably most people on the board already knew about years if not decades ago.

Note well the difference in the orientation of the feather in each case.

In the case of this particular demonstration, the feather is oriented such that its structure is least resistant to the friction of air.

In the case of the Apollo 15 footage from NASA, the feather is released in an attitude one would expect to be most responsive to atmospheric resistance, demonstrating at least that the event occurred in a near vacuum. This, plus the observed acceleration is strong evidence that it took place on the Moon.

A feather made of lead would fall at the same speed as a hammer even in air. So the moon landing were fake.

That really needs a smiley. Trust me there are really people out there that believe and say this for real!

IMO the fact that we went to the moon proves that it wasn't fake.

Willard Whyte faked the moon landing as uncovered by James Bond in Diamonds Are Forever.

This can only happen in a vaccum.

Or if it was made of lead.

You realise a lead feather, other then being incredible hard to make, would still be affected by air resistance when dropped flat?

But I thought ducks were made of wood.

Yes, but this was a falcon feather. Falcons are made of lead. That's why they can dive so fast.

"Dark Side of the Moon" is a much better moon-hoax parody.
