I am doing some research about how much media coverage twoofers get. Does anyone have some links to articles in newspapers, journals, television, or anything else having to do with twoofers being covered by the media? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Nowadays you can pretty much just check the police blotter of your local paper...

I saw a video once of 9/11 possibly being a consipiracy on the discovery channel. I don't remember the name but I guess you could call that coverage...

Hm, I remember seeing the leading frauds being on CNN, FOX News. Probably other stations as well. I think the most prominent ones and their fantasies have been covered one time or another.
Here's Steven Jones on MSNBC's Tucker Carlson:
ayYXNo0i_Cs
Here's Barrett on WMTV; YouTube description says it's him on CNN:
JpEGeJ3GXwA
On O'Reilly:
DILMQ_xYhg0
On Hannity & Colmes:
2NWFqVVRqSY
Fetzer on the same:
cbNszu6zbe4
I could go on for a while. :D
It looks like they got the most coverage on FOX News.

Great stuff baracuda. I will be using all of those. By the way, how do you do the embedded link things so that the video shows up on the page?
mrbaracuda
14th November 2008, 02:44 PM
With the [yt] tag! In case of the last video I embedded, you take the last part of the (regular) address http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cbNszu6zbe4 and put it into the [yt] brackets.
Just quote my post with all the videos and you will see!
(The code tag failed me :()

Here's Fetzer on O'Reilly:
UiSe_OsaQrk
Here's a "Dr. Reynolds" (never heard of that guy lol) on Fox News (don't know the show, looks like just news):
reQZT9Hzvt8
The FOX moderator says that the Time Magazine of the week of 9/10/2006 (as per youtube video description) covered the "latest theories". Might be worth looking into that.
Loose Change coverage with Avery and Bermass (and maybe Rowe) on FOX 40 (as a follow up of CT it seems; says the moderator):

Nowadays they virtually get NO attention. There are some good interviews and news pieces from 2006 lying around the internet, but that is about it.

Notice how FOX news gave the twoofers more coverage than most networks.
Why?
Because they relish an opportunity to paint the anti-Bush crowd as a bunch of raving loons!

Me too, that's why I got me TVU (an internet TV tool; they also have other channels), so I can watch it even in Germany! ;)
I have yet to see any O'Reilly and such. :D
Some coverage after election day in the morning on "Fox & Friends" was pretty fun to watch.

One interesting thing I noticed while researching the concept of "disinfo".
The various disputes amongst Truthers about what the Truth actually is split into sensible and crazy according to how much of reality they're willing to accept.
For example:
Planes / No-Planes
Plane at the Pentagon / Missile hit the Pentagon
Inside Job / Jew Job
... and so forth.
Now, in each case, the "sensible" Truthers complain that the media focuses more on the crazies, in order to discredit The Truth ... whereas the crazy side in each case complains that the media focuses on the "sensible" versions of Truthism in order to suppress the Real True Truth.

Quite beautiful from a mockery-standpoint, isn't it? :D

Can anyone post a bunch of newspaper articles that they have been featured in? Or magazines? I don't know if you know this, but Google has a specific news archive search (http://news.google.com/archivesearch) in its Advanced Search section.
Here's what I got for "Truth Movement (http://news.google.com/archivesearch?q=%22truth+movement%22&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&btnG=Search+Archives)".

She was trying to be funny by substituting the "r"s with "w"s like we do with twoofers with a site that she just made up. I would say it is an epic fail.
