View Full Version : Are there spirits? Danish survey says "Yes".

Here's an interesting survey (http://www.nytaspekt.dk/diverse/sporgeskema_resultat.html) found on the Danish woowoo magazine "Nyt Aspekt"'s website. 212 people replied.
All in Danish, I'm afraid. Not to worry, ye non-Danish tongue-waggin' viking-fodder, all you need to know about how "serious" this survey is, is this:
==========================================
Title of the survey: "Are there spirits?"
Question 16: How many times have you been in contact with the spirits?
a) 1 time.
b) 2-9 times.
c) 10-99 times.
d) over 100 times.
e) (Almost) every day over a period of months.
f) (Almost) every day over a period of years.
==========================================
What is wrong with this picture? :)

So, like any good marketer, I am going to assume that everyone at least read the article.
That means roughly 5,400,000 people took the quiz and only 212 people were able to answer. The rest obviously counldn't answer because they have never been contacted by spirits!
212 surly must cover the number of functional crazys on the loose in Denmark. What an affirmation for sanity!

Don't forget all those who have been contacted exactly 100 times.

That's nothing. Look what I found:
Titel i den opmåle : " er der Tundra Mammoths(tm)? "
Hvor mangedobbelt har i blevet træde af den Mammoths?
en ) 1 gang.
b ) 2-9 gange.
c ) 10-99 gange.
d ) slut 100 gange.
e ) ( næsten ) hver dag slut en periode i måneder.
f ) ( næsten ) hver dag slut en periode i år.
Basically, what I have been saying all along:D
Further let me point out that 4 Danes on this board took the survey and there aggregate answer is not significantly different from a very large number. So there.

More misdirection and covering-up. You don't really think that the board members are going to fall for your lies, do you? The truth will come out.

It seems like the mutual "interest" to say the least might cause her to notice your name more readily/easily than others (just a little inductive Psychological reasoning, nothing outside of "ho-hum" as far as I'm concerned).
It appears she merely was amused by a post, nothing more... it appears you took (what would be described as its underlying intent) a cheapshot.

Yahweh,
I note that you do not consider neither Thanz' or Clancie's posts as "cheapshots".
Just noticing, that's all.

Hi Yahweh,
Yes, and honestly, I don't even understand why Claus posted what you quote above (aside from the fact that he posts to me every day, even when I ignore him for months.....
I posted that little smiley in respone to Thanz. So Claus's comment that you've quoted above makes absolutely no sense to me....

Why is my post to Thanz "out of the blue", any more than anyone else's comment here to someone would be?
And as far as "Watching. Waiting" goes....rofl.
I posted to Thanz five hours after his post. I see that Claus posted to me three minutes after mine.....If that isn't "watching and waiting"...I don't know what is.....

Off course i did. We have several. The most frozen one has unfortunately been elected Prime minister. He imidiadetly showed the intelligence level of Tundra Mammoths by backing up Dubya's war to get re-elected.
You really got to keep those mammoths in short line otherwise they do something very stupid.:D ;) :p

Now, how would you know that I post to you "every day", if you have me on ignore? (sweetest smile imaginable)
Do you have spies who inform you of my every post? Do they provide you with nice statistics, delivered in your inbox, ready to read during breakfast?
No? Then how would you know, Clancie?

Now, Clancie, this is getting ridiculous. You ask me a direct question here. How are you supposed to read my answer, if you have me on ignore?
Perhaps you are not interested in the answer?

I posted it when I got back from work. If you feel that I should stay up till 3am Danish time in order to avoid this, then let me know.
Perhaps it is time for you to give up this silly charade of pretending you have me on ignore. Nobody is fooled, Clancie.
