This was the third lecture Gage gave in Germany and the last leg of a European tour that led him also to London, Madrid, Vienna, Genf, Paris, Aachen, Brüssel und Hamburg, Richard Gage presented solid evidence of controlled demolition at the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001. He included physics professor Steven Jones' evidence of thermite used as an incendiary, and enough analysis on the ejection of steel beams and debris to convince even industry professionals that this was no pancake collapse. Gage explored the flawed conclusions of the 911 Commission report and the conclusions of NIST, in this new presentation on evidence supporting controlled demolition for World Trade 1, 2 and 7.
There were 270 people attending the event at the Urania, a traditional lecture venue in West Berlin on Friday, 21 November.
It was a complete failure from Gage's POV:
The following numbers show the impact of the lecture:
Believers of the Official Conspiracy Theory:
Before the presentation: 11
After the presentation: 5
People unsure:
Before: 71
After: 10

So Gage convinced 61 people the Official Theory was correct? Nice work, Richard!

Looks to me as if this means that he convinced 61 unsure people that the Official Story is wrong.
Not that this really means anything. Anybody who is convinced by Gage and his cardboard box demonstration is an idiot anyway.

I'm sure that's what he meant too, but you have to figure there's a selection effect there. People that would go to see Gage WANT to believe, they're just looking for some basis for it.

I misread the heading on their "survey". According to their own numbers, Gage convinced 5 people he is right but given the propensity of the "Truth Movement" to lie by omission, I read the second second set of numbers, ("unsure"), to say that 61 people decided that Gage was nuts after listening to him.

Has anyone informed Gage yet that no one of importance gives a damn what he has to say? The sooner he realizes this the better.

In Paris, it seems that trutherism is a serious disease...
"Who thinks the towers fell down because of fires caused by both planes?" (Dishonest question, as Gage omitted that the Twin Towers had serious damage when the planes crashed in those)
1 person raised his hand.
"Who still doubts about the official version of collapse by fires, but about controlled demolition too?"
23 people raised their hand.
"Who thinks the towers have been brought down by explosives?"
350 people raised their hand.
...
Since when is science decided by raising the hand?

"Who can explain why there is absolutely no visual, auditory, or physical evidence of said controlled demolition?"
I'm sure even Gage would keep his hand down if that question was asked.

Of course the audience of these events are going to be top heavy with troofers. Who in their the right mind are going to sit still for such nonsense and pay for the privilege to listen to rehashed conspiracy theories?
I wouldn't even take the effort to cross the street and spit on him.

You forgot to include the number of people that will be born during each of his talks. He'll never get there, but we already knew that.

So when is the Debunker tour? I mean you're not really getting anywhere here at JREF. Maybe you all should start up a collection or something.
But who will go?

with gage touring the globe with a trio of cardboard boxes, there is no need. he is doing our work for us, I also laugh when truther forums mock jreffers. because it drives the curious fence sitters who never heard of the jref right into our laps via google search.

The Debunker took suffers from stiff competition from the 'Earth is round' and the 'Sun is going to shine tomorrow' tours. It seems that it is hard to get people to pay so that someone would tell them the bloody obvious.

The great thing about us is we don't have to go around debunking. Twoofers embarrass themselves enough as it is.

That's like asking who would go on a The Earth Is Not Flat tour. But I'll tell you what, I suggest Gage bring on the flat earthers, as a sort of a warm-up group, that way you can get all the kooks in the same room at the same time.

Absolutely. His sample set is self-selecting, therefore meaningless.
But it does, once again, make it very clear that this is nothing more than a popularity contest for most truthers (well, at least Gage in this specific instance, and any truther that tries to defend this "survey").

Don't forget africa, asia, australia, new zealand, tahiti, hawaii and south america and lets not forget the penguins at the south pole.
the twoof MUST BE SPREAD!
even if it uses up every dollar the twoofers have donated to AE911TRUTH.
when he has seen it all, he can then write his best seller:
How to see the world for free
or
Around the world by 80 lies.

I've got it! Gage can move to Bora Bora to spread the truth. So many cruise ships and visitors come there, he's got a continually refreshing audience. If he holds his seminars at Bloody Mary's, he'll get continual refreshes on his libations as well. The Audience is Out There, and sacrifices to get Gage to Bora Bora must be made.

Slightly OT...but that's how I ended up here. I was accused of being a JREFer by a truther. I only wish that their accusations of being a "paid shill" would follow suit.

You're the ones trying to convince the world of your "truth," HI - not us. We've already got the overwhelming majority of people on our side.
Hence, you folks are the ones who feel the need to do tours in front of your fellow twoofers in order to boost your morale.

It is a personal tour, all you need to use is a grade school education to understand 9/11. You can do it on your own. Or can you?
9/11 truth fails to use knowledge and sound judgment, they have become the official terrorist apologist for the world. That is all 9/11 truth and you can do; apologize for terrorist by making up lies, fantasies, and junk ideas.
Richard Gage is a failure on 9/11 ideas. His tour proves he is a failure on 9/11. No one can support Gage with evidence, not me not you.

Why would debunkers be sad enough to go on a tour for selling anything ?
We can attack the official twoof movement conspiracy theories on forums. If we're going to go on tour, we have a holiday and chillax we don't see the point of going into a crowded room, setting up a presentation, about a horrific act of terrorism, we'd all rather not ever have to look at again. We can take on the liars who try to exploit it to sell dvd's on the internet. Offline its nice to have a life away from conspiracy theories and computers.

Richard Gage uses his donations to take a holiday and spread stupid ideas. The poor truthers who gave him money to tour Europe are not only dirt dumb, they are poorer, and they have no clue.
Gage may be the smartest of us all, he is the one using the donations to spread the lies of 9/11 truth while he sees your country and more. I only saw San Diego, and Hollywood, and had to donate to my own holiday. When 9/11 CT came up during my touring, I was harassed for wasting time with the nut case idea believers of 9/11 truth; one of my only excuses was refuting 9/11 truth helps review math, physics and learn about other disciplines we all take for granted. This help stop the, "why waste time with the nut case ideas" banter. Truth can be useful.
Gage has a good scam, I wonder if he really believes this 9/11 truth junk, or is just being stupid so he can gather in the donations and continue traveling?
Gage is a success, he is traveling and keeping his followers happy. Nut case ideas pay off.

Gage talks to an audience already pre-disposed to believe his bulldada (http://www.allwords.com/word-bulldada.html) and then convinces some of them? Hilarious. I'd also like to know how many remain convinced - something marketers pay serious attention to.
