Since I'm a member of my local 9/11 twoof meet-up group, I get to read the e-mails that are sent out to all members.

Here are the last two:

November 22:

Save Your 9/11 Questions Meetup Group
Be the Organizer
Hi ********,
The Organizer of Toronto 9/11 Truth has stepped down. If no one steps up to be Organizer, this Meetup Group will close and be removed from Meetup.com in 14 days.
Would you like to become the new Organizer?
:dl:

Yup, the organizer has jumped ship - as did the poor sod before him.

Thankfully, there's at least one fella left who is willing to continue standing around Dundas Square on Sunday afternoons if it doesn't rain.

November 23:

To Toronto 9/11 Truth Meetup Members

The former organizer of the Toronto 9/11 Truth Meetup has stepped down, so I have stepped up to continue the meetup group by paying for the website registration fees ($72 for 6 months).

I have been consistently active in the 9/11 Truth Movement since the spring of 2005, when I finally came to terms with the facts about 9/11 and was convinced that a good citizen would step up to inform other Canadians.

There are already some plans in the works for Toronto 9/11 Truth:

assisting University of Toronto students with the formation of a student chapter of 9/11 truth;
planning a tour of several Canadian cities by former MI5 agent Annie Machon with other groups;
submission of a series of Access to Information Act Requests with the CBC;
the invitation of Canadian authorities (CSIS, military, political, etc.) to defend the official account of 9/11;
and a declaration of the official story's status as deceased, along with a "Funeral for the Official Story". (my emphasis)

So if you're interested in helping with any of these plans, please let me know. The volunteer responsibilities will be well-defined and lots of assistance and guidance will be provided.

Because I live in Mississauga, I will need at least 2 people who live in downtown Toronto to help with planning and organizing the above events, and as many as possible to help where and when they can. I know people prefer to participate in different ways and I will try to be accommodating.

Thanks for giving me the chance to make Toronto a loud voice for 9/11 truth.

Sincerely,

Adam Parrott, B.Sc.Eng.

So now we know the new Toronto twoofer battle plan: set up a student group, sponsor a speaking tour, requesting info from the CBC, invite Canadian authorities to some kind of debate, and issue a "declaration" of the OS's death, complete with a "funeral."

I think that last e-mail (along with the zero responses to it from the other 178 members of the group) constitute a closest thing to a funeral that this group will ever have.

BTW - the group's latest member?

Oh dear :rolleyes:

Isn't that the guy who thinks all airliners contain pre-planted explosive devices?

If only all of these 9/11 troof groups had the same measure of success as the Toronto group.

Wow, Meetup gets $12 a month from him? Suddenly their business model makes sense!

Is Jeff "pump it out" Hill a member of Toronto 9/11 truth, or do no-planers not get to play?

I think I should join that group. I need the laugh, plus I don't live very from from Mississauga.

I've heard from acquaintances at work (which is an inter-city public transport agency, CHF knows the name I bet) that the truthers are wanting to set up shop for "information" booths as train stops during the rush hours.

They were given a polite "NO". I would have used more colourful language. Seems our agency is probably on their "evil gubmint" hit list now. :)

I'll confess I've been ripping down posters from construction sites and removing stickers from traffic light buttons for a couple of years now. Always put them into the proper recycle bins too. As long as the troofers continue to recycle their crap, I figure I can recycle their printed materials. I even took down a banner along Bay Street in front of the ACC one evening about 30 minutes after they hung it..:D

I'm going to miss the Toronto losers protesting on Front St. Always good for a chuckle.

Based op that picture, Capt. Bob is sitting on the wrong side of the aircraft. Interesting.
