....I AGREE with President Bush about:
"I DON'T want 'Our Troops' fighting on Our Land against an enemy they can't see or find. I'd MUCH rather see them 'fight' an invisible enemy somewhere else."
---
I do NOT wish to see 'soliders quarted HERE', ARMED and in My Face, trying to fight an enemy they can't see or find. Moreover, I think this 'quartering soliders' in other peoples' lands is what is causing all this trouble, to begin with.

The "invisible enemy" being the Democrats. Election's not too far away, Bush is slipping in the polls, so why not deploy the military? Bush needs another enemy, this time one he can find.
After all, he used the Supreme Court to secure the Presidency the first time, so why not the military this time?
(Only marginally joking here....)

In short:
"I do NOT want to see U.S. G.I.'s on My Streets, busten down my neighbor's doors shooting at people, IN America."

Why would that happen?? Omigod, the terrorists are raising an army of undaed sucide bombers that will soon rise from the american sewers. We will have to fightthem on the streets of Topeka. GASP! Our only way to stop this is to invade Iraq.

Is there a reason for, or a point to, this fear mongering of yours?

Fighting 'terrorists' would BEST be done somewhere BESIDES on American Lands.

No.
I just wanted to say publically that there IS something I agree with the President about.
Can you even IMAGINE how bad it would suck to have Our Army in our streets?

Interesting.

...I never said THAT.
I said if they HAVE to fight, I'd rather it happened somwhere else.
I didin't find any real NEED to go over to Iraq and fight, but that isn't the issue.
The point is WHERE would you 'rather' see fighting?

Wherever the enemy is.

...then I'll politely tip my hat to my fellow countrymen, pick up arms and tell them the civilians HERE are fine without them.
There is no Army that Constitutional Rights could not conquer.

Of course no one WANTS martial law declared and troops locking down cities, but we also don't want terrorists thinking that once they make it over the border into the U.S., the pressure is off...
IMO, MRC_Hans is right. We should fight terrorists wherever we find them.

I pray you are WRONG.
You can NOT 'fight' terrorism. You can only hope to contain it.
Army or not, when people are willing to risk their lives, there is no amount of 'security' to be had. EXAMPLE: Israel
You 'fight' terrorism by providing People better resultions to change than violence.

One can not stop the tide, either.
That DOESN'T mean one stops building seawalls...
You fight terrorism by putting as many obstacles in their path as possible.
The "War on Terror" and the Patroit Act may, arguably, be just two additional obstacles that have contributed to the fact that there has been no terrorist attacks inside the U.S. since 9-11.

OR, we have 'validated' their struggle by doing MORE of what they firstly accussed us of???
We are the Occupiers, We are the Invaders. They are simply to busy protecting their homeland, to hit us where we live...for the time being.
The link above was interesting...

The security of our Second Amendment, is THE factor that keeps a foreign Army OFF our soils.
