Why doesn"t Alexander Lukashenko recognize Kurapaty as a crime against humanity. Why do you think that the media in Belarus or the president Alexander Lukashenko never talks about Kurapaty? I think it is wrong to try to hide the Soviet war crimes but same time condem Hitler and Nazi Germany. There should be no double standard between Nazi war crimes and Soviet war crimes.

By the way only jews in Belarus have recognize the Kurapaty case as great tragedy. I wonder why nobody in Israel or USA or Russia talks about Kurapaty. Fact is that Soviet crimes must be condemed and investigated the same way as nazi war crimes.

i really dont believe that anyone in the USA seeks to whitewash soviet crimes, other then communists. remember, Reagen called the USSR the "evil empire".

when i was in junior high, i learned about various mass crimes by the chinese and the soviets. we learned about the gulags, the crackdown on the Czech democracy movement and Hungarian movements.

i was never taught nice things about the communists or the soviets. and that's in a NYC school.
