So, nothing new but good will to man and all that jazz from the beloved resident of the Holy See.

Unfortunately I can't link to the news reports, but I am sure most will have see it. :)

Sadly, there currently is no English Translation of the speech on the Vatican Website.

And yet the guy wears robes and jewelery, has chosen celibacy in order to freely love a bearded man who himself was celibate and hung around men exclusively...

I wonder whether our ex-PM ,Tony Blair ,who has embraced Catholicism agrees with the word of God and will be incorporating the hate into the foundation he is setting up.

Now, we all know the Pope does not hate! He loves all! I'm sure he prays for those he disagrees with...

"Oh Lord, please open the eyes of those commie pinko fags, so they can see the truth and the light, and bask in your glory forever! Amen"

Gee, a surprise a minute here. The Pope didn't change any doctrine today.

Stunner.

Really moving forward in the world, aren't they.

It's also reassuring in a way, it's like creationists with science, the more they keep up that backwards thinking the more they'll find themselves cut off from the rest of the world, and therefore they might end up starving themselves to death. The world won't wait for them to catch up, the more they distance themselves away, the better, in a sense. They'll become more and more the fringe, like some odd group with odd beliefs, and they'll wither away.

Just like natural selection, adapt or go extinct.
