I came across this author while looking for some audio books. I have searched all over the net including google, author data bases etc without getting anything on this person
So far all I have is
Man the Space Rockets · by Graph Waldeye 1941
The beings that be 1941
The four dimensional doodler 1942
The Answer Out of Space" by Graph Waldeyer 1943.
Anyone heard of the person. Or know anything about them. Or know if they were someone else writing under another name
Thanks in advance

Yeah given the amount of bio material on the net about some very obscure authors, this one has me totally stumped.

This thread is number nine on my simple google of the name "Graph Waldeyer". That doesn't bode well.
Maybe LibraryLady can dig something up. I think I'll ask my own librarian (that is, my girlfriend) for help too.
Edit:
I did find the following letter to Time form 1938
Suicide
Sirs:
Regarding the suicide plunge of John William Warde from the ledge of a hotel window [TIME, Aug. 8], may I suggest how to handle such cases in the future? Call out the fire department; deluge the waiting, watching mob with high-pressure streams of water. This would have three salutary effects: 1) wash away the morbidity of the mob; 2) clear the streets for traffic; 3) divert the would-be suicide's attention from his own real or fancied woes. Turn about is fair play.

Thanks for that tid bit. At least it establishes the person was living in the US at some point

Well, I had passed this on to Jess Nevins, author of the forthcoming Encyclopedia of Pulp Heroes, and all around way-cool research librarian and MSTie.
Unfortunately he never heard of Graph Waldeyer. So he passed it along to the folks he considers experts.
They never heard of him either. The most known is he existed, he wrote, he lived in San Francisco.

He was a subscriber to the "Vanguard Amateur Press Association":
As of the 2nd mailing, May 1945, the following were VAPA members: James Blish, Russell Chauvenet, George Ebey, V. K. Emden (who of course was later Virginia Blish), Joe Kennedy, Jim Kepner, Damon Knight, Robert Lowndes, John Michel, Benson Perry, Alva Rogers, Art Saha, H. Loren Sinn, Larry Shaw, Norm Stanley, Raymond Washington Jr., Bill Watson, Felix Wilsey, Don Wollheim, Elsie Wollheim, Don Zissman and Judy Zissman (later Merril). VAPA also had subscribers, who were at this point: F. Lee Baldwin, C. L. Barrett MD, Capt. Jack B. Emden, Walter Kubilius, Walt Liebscher, A. L. Schwartz and Graph Waldeyer. Lowndes was the "Provisional Manager," and Wollheim, Shaw and V. K. Emden were the 1st, 2nd and 3rd
"Advisors," respectively.

Maybe the other names listed above help you to find out more.
He seems to have written more than listed in the OP:
Graph Waldeyer
Short Fiction:
* 1939. Cosmic Cube
* 1941. Beings Like These

Never heard of of him. Not too interested anyway, but I thought some googling is better than to actually work. I wish you good luck (in a non woo way of course) for your further inquiry.

Yeah, I found all that stuff too. But Google isn't going to cut it.
Honestly, I'm thinking we'll never know unless we find someone who knew him personally. I'm not interested enough to go asking the few pulp SF authors still around.

Thanks everyone for the effort. Especially the Vangard lead, I know someone who was active in fandom back in that era, so I am going to make contact with them, see if they have anything on this person.
Unfortunately he is not a computer person so it will be the old fashion way lol. If I turn anything up I will post it on here, just to satisfy the idle curiosity. But for now I suspect this needs to go back to the cold case files :(

That's why I didn't post about it. I knew you needed something to do. ;)

And I'd thank you if you did, even though I don't believe there's anyone else listening. :D
