This year, Sylvia offered predictions on the future of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, Paris Hilton, Britney Spears, the Olson Twins, and many others.

Among Sylvia Browne's 2009 predictions on celebrities and pop culture are:

- "This might surprise you, but everyone went "oh" when I said Brad Pitt and Jen Aniston were going to break up. But I'm telling you now, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are in real big trouble. They could very well separate towards the end of the year."

- "Clint Eastwood will have some leg problems. It almost seems like a very, very bad case of varicose veins that are going to have to be stripped. It's going to be very painful for him."

- "Paris Hilton will land in jail over an accident. That isn't, I don't think, a big surprise to anybody."

- "Britney Spears will become ill and not be able to perform for 4 months. And that's toward the mid-part of the year."

- "Katie Couric is replaced from her position on the CBS nightly news. I don't know who it'll be, but it'll be someone who has been on one of the Good Morning America shows or something like that [to replace Couric]."

- "Nicole Richie will separate from Joel Madden."

- "The Olson Twins will be picked up and questioned regarding drugs."

I don't know about that, some of them are vague enough to come true. Like the Clint Eastwood one; it would surprise me if man in his late 70's doesnt have leg problems. Also, betting on people like Nichole Ritchie to split from their partner has a large possibility of being true. Some of the others have also partially happened before (britney being ill and not performing, Paris Hilton being jailed iirc), it's just another SB vaguefest.

Given that they have a slew of children, and are generally seen here, there, and everywhere together, and aren't having knock down fights in public, I think it is fairly safe to assume that Pitt and Jolie are committed to each other and their family. I think Browne is wrong.

He's 78 years old. It would be surprising if he didn't have some medical problems. Too vague to call.

This is a sure bet. For one thing, Spears is already battling reported bipolar disorder. If she takes time off to cut an album, she probably won't perform live.

I answered from work where i can't watch videos, i'll make an effort to watch the video tonite if i can summon up the courage. I just commented on the ones that were quoted in the OP. I stand by my reply regarding The ones i commented on.

Sylvia was on "The Morning Show with Mike and Juliet" this morning with her new husband. I think she's trying to look like the Olsen twins. She's failing. I couldn't take more than a few minutes of it, but I think she was pimping "All Pets Go To Heaven", making predictions for 2009, and doing warm readings.

Sylvia, The woo charaltan, Needs to be put away in a padded yellow room. She knows very well that she is in this only for the money. I cant stand that btch. I feel like taking her and knocking some logic into her, which is that psychics cant possibly exist. Its an phyiscal impossibility!

I was looking through Sylvia's 100 year predictions (http://web.archive.org/web/20000301093527/sylvia.org/2000plus.htm) today and saw this one:

40: Aliens will begin to show themselves in the year 2010, they will not harm us, they simply want to see what we are doing to this planet. They will teach us how to use anti-gravity devices again, such as they did for the pyramids.

Saying that Brad and Angelina will break up is one thing, but this prediction is just so ridiculous.

I wonder if the aliens will charge us for use of the anti-gravity devices.

Additional: Sylvia sounds like she's croaking. She never had the smoothest voice to begin with, but it sounds like she's gotten much worse lately.

It seems to me all those predictions are pretty safe bets. I mean basically, it's some famous is going to get sick, some famous is going to be in an accident, someone famous is going to change jobs and some famous couple is going to split. So what? Big deal.

What happened to the crazy predictions? Something outrageous like: Aliens are going to land at the White House where it will be revealed that Obama is one of them sent to help the world unite?

BTW, I tried to watch the vid but I just couldn't get through it.

One other thing: Why all the predictions on celebrates? I mean, if whatever "force" she "taps into" gives her this wonderful "power", why the hell is it so preoccupied with famous people? Why not predict something that is more important???
