Illegal Immigrants Sue Wall Mart for Discrimination (http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&ncid=&e=7&u=/ap/20031109/ap_on_bi_ge/wal_mart_arrests)
Of course, not a word about the fact that they came into the country illegally in the first place.
They might as well be given citizenship; they seem to have learned the essence of being an American: "I am an innocent victim, so I'm going to sue somebody with money!".

"If these people are going to work at Wal-Marts, then Wal-Mart and its contractors should abide by the labor laws."
If Wal-mart had abided by the labor laws, his clients would never have been hired in the first place. I've heard of suing because you didn't get hired, but now you you can sue if you do get hired?
Talk about "Damned if you do, Damned if you don't".

Damned if you dont?? When has anyone ever got into trouble for refusing to employ somebody who cannot be legally offered employment...
This is a simple case of "Damned if you do, damned if you do" and if Wal-mart did knowingly participate in the exploitation of illegal immigrants then they deserve to be damned.....

I thought it was "Chutzpah."
But you're right though.
Part of "what's wrong with this country" is there are too damn many lawyers and too damn many of them are busy making money for themselves. We have to import doctors from India, but the Law Schools are pumping 'em out in droves.
