Anyone know of any good books on what happened with Hurricane Katrina? I know there are a bunch out there but I don't know which ones are good and which ones are junk. Thanks.:)

Very peripherally related, Naomi Klein's "The Shock Doctrine" has one chapter (or part of one) about this, but it is in the context of her theory of tragedies like that being used as opportunities to implement so-called "disaster capitalism", which approximately amounts to excess monetary gains for a privileged elite of hardcore Chicago-school disciples, while the normal checks and balances on untramelled profit-extraction are temporarily suspended.
(I don't much agree with it, but it is interesting)
However, probably not what you're really looking for :)
