View Full Version : A&E's "The Beast" Pisses Off the Woo.

A new FBI drama currently showing on A&E portrays 9/11 truthers as dope smoking terrorists in its pilot episode, a ploy made all the more interesting for the fact that A&E is part-owned by Hearst Corporation, which has also attempted to debunk 9/11 truth with savage hit pieces via its subsidiaries The History Channel and Popular Mechanics.

While 9/11 Truthers may be misguided, I do not think it's right to lump them together with drug users.
Is there any evidence to suggest a majority of them are drug-addicts? Especially of hard-core drugs?

Note to our NWO Overlords: A second-rate drama on a third-tier cable channel starring a washed-up actor might not be the best platform for brain-washing the masses. Maybe try something people will actully watch. How about the Super Bowl?

I'm surprised they're upset about it. Like I said in the Rescue Me (http://forums.randi.org/showthread.php?t=133085) thread where I brought this up, as long as they got a mention at all I assumed it was considered positive press to them.
After all, is this any more embarrassing than the loads of youtubes they've posted making themselves look dumber than most junkies?

I would have thought they would be thrilled to finally have gained as much respect as druggies.

Moving to Conspiracy Theories; this isn't about 9/11 itself, even though it may be a discussion on a conspiracy against 9/11 conspiracy supporters.

The video is hilarious, but some of the comments on this video are almost funnier than the video itself:

(I can't post links so if someone wants to do it for me, that would be appreciated)
Some of the Woo have decided that the thing to do is to contact the actor, a few have realized that this sudden influx of propaganda means that they have hit a sore spot in the NWO, one even proposes that this is a sophisticated form of subliminal messaging and that whoever wrote the script was involved with Cointelpro.

Pat and James over at Screw Loose Change had the 'Willie Nelson Hypothesis' (http://screwloosechange.blogspot.com/2008/05/willie-nelson-hypothesis.html) going for a while, but admittedly, that wasn't with regards hard drugs.

From the link, Chong posits: ". . . the fact that certain people weren't in the buildings that kind of knew the buildings were gonna go down, that's a fact."
"Certain people." I think we all know who he means.

There, I said it.

RE:

...did they address the point that, at the end of the episode, the Truther...
..turns out to be an undercover government agent? Because I'd expect them to blow their top at that, if they bothered to actually watch the whole episode, as opposed to cherry-picking the one bit directed at them....

That seems like a good move!
Nothing says "hey our cause is legit" better then harassing an actor dying of cancer.

Wrong actor!
But on that note, for a guy dying of cancer, I though Mr.Swayze did a good job.

Whoa, I didn't even notice he was one of the guys on the train. But then by the end of the show I was finding myself caring very little.
It has one week (tomorrow) to get a lot better or The Beast can go screw. :p

Well, they did bounce the camera around enough that it was hard to recognize anyone in that scene, but the Young Hip FBI Newbie makes a comment about "Smoking Meth in a trailer park with that guy", to let you know who they were supposed to be.

So the 9/11 Conspiracy sub-forum is now only for discussions of 9/11 "itself"? The OP was about a scene on a TV show. So why not move it to Movies, TV, Music, Computer Gaming, and other Entertainment?
Capricious mod actions like this are one reason I've lost almost all interest in participating on any JREF forum. :(

The context is that a young FBI undercover agent must smoke drugs or play "chicken foot" to get launch cards for a guided missle launcher from a demented duggie truther.

Thanks for posting the link grmcdorman.
A few more laughs:
This scene is extremely badly written and out of character with the rest of the piece. It will turn off ALOT of potential fans. The Networks need to remember that the masses are waking up and have very little patience for obvious gov't propaganda planted in the middle of a TV show. So wake up A&E and Vincent Angell & William L. Rotko: that scene just cost you a "successful" season. Why? I am telling everyone I know, that it is a POS, propaganda tool for moronic, brain dead sheeple
and...
You have got to be kidding me! For the record, I am a 9/11 truther and I am drug free. I also speak in plain english.
