Just to remind all you UK based science types that the BBC are having a Darwin Season (http://www.bbc.co.uk/darwin/) to commemorate the 200th anniversary.

150th anniversary of the publication of Origin. (22 November 1859)

200th anniversary of Darwin's birth (12 February 1809).

When Darwin published his theory of evolution 150 ago, the foundations were shaky and his evidence weak, says biologist Armand Leroi.

Just watched the first program of the Darwin season. I was captivated for the entire 90 minutes. One of the best science shows I've watched - well constructed, paced and presented. Calling it a history of Darwin's theory simply doesn't do justice to it. I hope it is broadcast soon on the beeb's international channels.
