Mengele 'created twin town in Brazil'

Wasn't sure where this should go, but I thought it was interesting,m and touches on several topics.

Josef Mengele is apparently thought by some to be the reason a small Brazil town had a high incidence of blond haired, blue eyed twins (http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/southamerica/brazil/4307262/Nazi-angel-of-death-Josef-Mengele-created-twin-town-in-Brazil.html).

For years scientists have failed to discover why as many as one in five pregnancies in a small Brazilian town have resulted in twins – most of them blond haired and blue eyed.
But residents of Candido Godoi now claim that Mengele made repeated visits there in the early 1960s, posing at first as a vet but then offering medical treatment to the women of the town.


Weird science, weird history, weird historical figures all convene for a weird story.

Well, no, he didn't. Sensationalist media would like to think so, scientists say "what a lot of rot".

Feel free to come up with a scientific theory that explains how the twins effect was still around in the 1990s, or how other towns in the world with small, in-breeding populations and high numbers of twins that weren't visited by "NAZI SCIENTIST" came to be.

Genealogical analysis showed a high recurrence of multiple births within families, as well as a high level of inbreeding within the community, suggesting the presence of genetic twinning factors.

BS. Many lies made up about Mengele. Did Mengele also make soap out of jew fat? So I should believe the jewish assistant of Mengele Miklos Nyiszli? :D nah I think not. Besides did Mossad let Josef Mengele escape so they could get Adolf Eichmann?
