Bush congradulating the wrong church?

Interesting news item today.


The White House sent a letter congradulation the Metropolitan Community Chuches on their 35th aniversary of operation. Of couse included in his message was a bit about his Marriage Protection Week, and how the sanctity of marriage must be protected for the good of society.

umm.... small problem. The Metropolitan Community Chuch is heavily pro-gay marriages, performing thousands annually. One of their major goals is to get gay marriages recognized legaly. Thanks for the support Mr. Bush :p
