Why is this in Politics?

Galileo's trial was very political.

It was also religious. And scientific. And historical.

So why here?

Moved here to History, Literature, and the Arts. Also, there doesn't seem to be much point in discussing this until after the show has been broadcast, unless Galileo wishes to introduce a discussion topic beforehand.

Some of the topics discussed are listed in the original post.

The show intends to quickly introduce listeners to information about Galileo that is not widely known to the general public, then to cover areas where scholars disagree about Galileo and set things right.

Everybody seems to have their own spin on Galileo, but this spin can be refined with more information.

I am hoping that someone will call in ask ask about the connection between Galileo and WTC 7.

Ah, my apologies. I interpreted that list as a list of topics that are to be discussed on the show. I didn't think many people here would have any basis to contest the claim that those topics will, indeed, be discussed on the show.

If you wish to discuss those topics in the thread, then I repeat that it might help get things started if you were to offer a statement, claim, or argument about one or more of those topics.

Respectfully,
Myriad
