"In an exclusive interview with the Evening Standard, Dr Boisselier said the cult had set up a new company, Stemaid, which is using stem cells. At least two patients are being treated; one has a brain tumour and the other is paralysed after a spinal cord injury.

"We have found a way to cure so many diseases and a way to look like you are 17 years old," she said. "There will be six to nine months demonstrating and then we will be showing everything.""

I am prepared to bet several years' salary that they will announce that they have been entirely successful, but that the now-17-year-old looking person will be too shy to appear, for fear of publicity. Or maybe, this person will appear, but have left their ID at home.

I'll also have a few bucks on Dr. Boisselier not personally undergoing the treatment. Or at least, not looking noticeably different !

By the way, what's the scientific definition of "looking like you are 17 years old" ? Does a 17-year-old victim of progeria count ?

Has anyone with progeria lived that long?

I know, they are cloning a person every 6-7 years so that there's someone between 17-25 to show all the time. Right now there is a 17 year old, a ten year old, and a 4 year old.
